TFT1 is supposedly the trans pan temp and TFT2 is supposedly the trans converter output temp so that will tend to be higher and will vary more often

Okay, so at the last Cove meet up, not only did Jeff get bit by a brown recluse, which we found out after the trip, but Jesse, the formerly beloved canine, jumped up on the picnic table and chowed down on a tasty venison steak which Jeff had just prepared. Jesse may not be invited back next year and Jeff's campsite will have to be fumigated prior to the next meet.

Finally had a free Saturday to put on my new Icon rear 2" coils and bump the front Bilsteins from 1.75" to 2.5" Thanks to the write up from [MENTION=85512]eddiebx[/MENTION] this took a lot less time than last year when I initially put on my front Bilsteins. Last year it took me all day to just do the front and I wasn't even able to do the spacer in the back because I couldn't figure out how to deal with the KDSS swaybar. This year thanks to [MENTION=85512]eddiebx[/MENTION] and his write up I did the back in 3 hours and the front in about 4 by myself. The rear Icons ride great and I love the additional height. I wish I had gone this height last year so I could have had this setup in Moab and Colorado.

Also wanted to share this photo. Reattaching the driver's side KDSS sway bar bracket required a floor jack (not pictured) a ratchet strap. vise grip pliers and a large punch! Not easy, but I eventually got it in there.

Hit up Mount Snow with my brother over the weekend. Started out the day at -9 degrees.

So my dogs got out, and I went looking for them in my tundra. I drove out in the woods by the house on one of the trails, and got stuck. There was a hole filled in with grass I couldn't see, the front end dropped in and the front of the truck was on the bumper. It wasn't coming out. So I hiked around for 3 hours, found the dogs, walked back to the house, got the 4runner and a neighbor, and pulled the tundra out. I drove the 4runner , my neighbor drove the tundra... I get out to the main road, looked around didn't see him, went back, and pulled him out from the huge mud puddle he got stuck in. Then I made him go in front of me to the main road and drive my truck home. What a friggin day! But the 4runner came through for me!

This was this past Sunday, but:

• Finished up research on extending the cables between the alternator, battery and fusebox.
• Installed the Group 31M battery (have to "adjust" the OEM terminal ends to make it fit).
• Adjusted the front coils to compensate for the extra weight of the Group 31M
• Installed the RCI Metalworks T4R10-13-05 | 10-14 4Runner Filler Plate - Stock Bumper (needed to have holes drilled to work with my Shrockworks skids)

Plasti-dipped the wheels to test the blackout look before I spend money on new ones. (Updated: Love it).

Got this nifty thing for Christmas for travelling with the dog. It's a Kurgo Wanderer pet hammock. Basically water resistant canvas that is attached via 4 straps over the front and rear head rests. She doesn't do too well in the cargo area on longer road trips and it's a pretty nice alternative. You can also unzip the middle for seating if needed. When not in use it folds back up into the bag it came in pretty nicely and I can throw it in the trunk.
