What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Got out to enjoy a final (although somewhat cold and raining) kayak trip of the year, also enjoyed the fall colors

Lazy Sunday

Drop to order my phone, got a few groceries for the work week needed creamer for coffee, picked up a pizza for Sunday night football and changed the wipers at half time.
 
Beach trip

Road trip to New Symrna beach. Got to drive out on the beach along the Atlantic - Find your spot, pop the tailgate and start the party - it's great to have everything right there with you on the beach w/o having to cart it all out there - pretty cool!

Finally had a nice day and the time to dip the wheels. Deleting other chrome is a work in progress. I'm including a crappy pic that I'm justifying using because my 4Runner now has a look shared by many others on here. But it's unique around where I live, so I got that going for me.

I also just received four 5100's, and SAWs for the rear, so that's the next project. After that, I'm done with mods for awhile. I think. Except maybe different tires. But then I'm done. Well, maybe a new roof rack. But, really, I'm done then.

I took a quick drive yesterday to pick up a set of black weather tech front and rear floor mats second hand. They were in great condition and so far the wife is enjoying my first "mod" LOL:)

The jump to 55w makes them significantly brighter and actually usable. Here's a couple day pics,not the best but I'll post some night shots and the cutoffs when I get a chance. Much deeper yellow than using lamin-x film which I had on my 06

Went to the post office tonight and saw a sweet army green '98 Land Cruiser. ARB bumper, lift, back had gas cans and spare, snorkel. Really nice. We chatted for awhile, found out were neighbors. He was trying to talk me into an ARB; said his wife hit a deer just down the road from my house and it flattened the deer but he basically wiped the bumper clean. And the airbags didnt go off....I'm really into the idea of an aftermarket bumper but the chance of the airbags malfunctioning freaks me out.

Anyway, really cool LC!!
 
Plastied the wheels

This stuff is amazing. I did the method taking the wheels off and using index cards.

Flipped out when I saw the hail damage to my truck tonight. Passenger doors are the only part with no damage. Ugh.

I'm trying to tell myself there are worse things as I rapidly consume margaritas to dull the pain.
