I just drove to Discount Tire and ordered my new Nitto Terra Grapplers and MB TKO wheels w/optional center caps. My birthday/wedding anniversary present. Pics at the end of the week after they're installed.

I enjoyed the hot, dry desert area a few days ago, but these photos look much better. We have been thinking of moving to the PNW and photos like these make it more attractive.

Speaking of the PNW....went for a long walk yesterday morning and there was this layer of fog on Elliott Bay slowly giving way to bursting sun. Yesterday almost felt like summer.

I took my '14 in for the 15k on Saturday too. 15k in 9 months!

Wow, just hit 8k and will be a year in a few weeks.

I took my truck and climbed Mount Washington in New Hampshire today. For those who don't know, it's the highest peak in the Northeast. It also is famous for some freaky weather.

I parked in the highest parking lot, and there wasn't another 4Runner in the lot, and none of the other vehicles higher up were 4Runners...so for a while today, my 4Runner was the highest 4Runner in the Northeast. That's kinda cool.

At the bottom of the road it was about 60 and sunny, a nice Fall day...at the top, 24 with a 20mph wind.

Sorry for the phone pictures, my good camera decided to stop working today.

First I did the Raptor Grill mod.

Then I did an airaid intake and customized it. I took off the airaid badge and replaced it with an old TRD decal I had from my old tacoma. Then i replaced the alumn lid with a plexi glass panel to give it an open filter look while keeping it "sealed"
