Wired to the TOWING BKUP light circuit.
Purchased from ebay: 18w 6INCH LED WORK LIGHT BAR FLOOD
They make a huge difference at night looking thru tinted windows and also lots of light when looking at BU camera!

Painted my opor sliders for my 2015 limited.
It was a major PITA to clean the caked on oil/grease that coated the bare metal. Took me a solid day of scrubbing with acetone and super clean. Super clean + 3M blue super rough stripping pad is the key. And tons of disposable latex gloves.

My next project is your behind the grill light bar installation. I ordered 21.5" that is switchable between white and amber for foul weather. It should be here tomorrow.

I can tell you the White wire is the ground and the yellow wire is the TOWING BKUP on my 2014 SR5 Premium.
As always, check with a test probe to make sure.
Remember that circuit is only 10 Amps.

Didn't do it all today but... Installed Airlift 1000, and B&M Supercooler tranny cooler, weight distribution hitch.
Did anyone add extra ATF when installing their tranny cooler?

I did a full flush when I added my cooler so I can't speak on how much fluid needs added but it's worth cracking open the fill plug when the trans is at operating temp to see if there's any excess draining. If there isn't then grab a quart of WS/MaxLife/Amsoil and pump some in through the fill plug on the side.
From my experience the trans doesn't like it if its even slightly overfilled.

Finally did the mod today after getting the parts a year ago. Ran it to the jack storage area. Had a difficult time reaching the body gromet and getting it back in.
When I unscrewed the original vent on the diff, there was a 1 to 2 second rush of air sound. It must have been holding a vacuum since it's a one way valve. I did this on a 70 degree morning and it had not been driven. I was surprised that it did this, guess the one waly valve seals it very well. I replaced it with an open valve as in the front diff.

Just dropped my 14 sr5 off at the shop for LR uca' s and level 8 mk6' s 17x8 with 0 offset to be installed. Prolly will be Monday before I get to pick it up though.

You'll definitely need to add fluid to account for the volume of the cooler and extra hoses. You can't just fill it to the fill plug hole on these transmissions though. There are two drain plugs on the pan, one for draining and one for checking the fluid level. Follow the procedure in the service manual or you'll just loose a bunch of fluid. (Trust me on this.) These "sealed" transmissions are finicky about how you do this.
Just back from a combination steelhead fishing/archery hunting trip.
All after installing new led interior lights which made a nice difference in the early darkness getting geared up for both.
First light off-road it's been.
I will say it will need new tires at some point, but I'll have to wait for the right time to approach that subject....
All in all, I'm more enamored than ever with my new T4R

Cleaned my windshield about 50 times.
To whoever put diesel in the windshield washer bin at the gas station,
Try Coca Cola to clean it. Yeah I know but it works. Wet a rag with a can, wipe it on, leave it for a few seconds then wipe it off. Then use a water damp rag and a dry rag to clean the coke off. The Coke cleans the diesel film, the water cleans the Coke film.

I used dawn, simple green, glass cleaner. Just put in new wiper inserts on Wednesday, too. Cleaned them the same, plus a few extra passes with rubbing alcohol.

My guess is some bonehead used the window cleaner/squeegee to clean the diesel fuel off their car. I've seen people use those to wash there whole car while pumping gas.
