Well it's not what I did to my 4Runner, but what was done to it... Someone decided to steal my receiver hitch D-Ring shackle while I was parked at a trailhead going for a mountain run. Time to get another... and a locking hitch pin

Not that I don't want to go to Acadia, but to me, it's really F'ing sad that there's a parking lot on top of a 1500' hill.

Why? The view from up there is absolutely amazing. My picture doesn't do it justice.

Actually the cheapo version held up quite well- even through high winds.

The ARB was a gift!

Picked up road kill... yup. A friend texted to say he saw a fresh hit, free dog-food for a month. Dogs aren't picky when it comes to red meat. It's currently still in my back yard. I'll cut it into chunks later with a sawzall. No this is not for human consumption.
