Storage w/3rd row

Found some free storage in the back of my 4R. Can only be found with the third row option. I have jumper cables and a tool kit in one side and tie downs/straps in the other.

Take the two anchor points off. Lift that back cover off, there is a clip in the middle, just pull. Then using a pry tool, each end piece will pop off. I thought I was going to break them too. Pull hard. Then on the back of those pieces there are two screws holding the carpeted piece on and a bunch of tabs. Remove them. Trace out the opening you want and cut it out. I used a hot knife but a dremel will work just as well. Make sure you leave at least one of the rectangle holes front and rear on the bottom piece for the cover to snap into.

Put spydertrax spacers on today, I've been skeptical of spacers in general for a long time but decided to give them a shot. Impressed with the quality and they were easy to put on. I did 1.25 inches and I think it's just the right amount. Little bit of rubbing at full lock that I'll have to take care of, but very happy overall.

Wiring

Wired up a Blue Sea System 6 fuse block w/negative 5025, 80A relay (battery isolator), and pre-wired a 30A relay for a LED light bar.

Table Mesa Road

Took my baby on some dirt for the first time since the new tires/lift. Tried Table Mesa Road (north of Phoenix) however it was closed (imagine that). I got a little ways though. Even saw a fellow White 2014/15 Trail Edition crossing the Agua Fria River.

Followed others instructions who paved the way , Back up Camera Any Time, I used a OTRATTW SPST switch and 2 diodes. Instructions only called for one to keep the truck from throwing lights when using the switch but when I had everything wired up I realized my switch light came (upper) came on when I put the truck in reverse even if the switch was in the off position. Added a diode in that line to stop that so the light only comes on when the switch is actually on.

The fifth window came in handy today. Picked up a 8 FT gladiator bamboo top workbench for my home office. Quality is top notch. Going to get the matching power strip to manage the power cords and some wall hangers to organize the small stuff.

Nice idea, that is sweet!

that is about 1.765 seconds too much

Not to get all political but the same could be said for 99% of politicians.

Point being, I spent 4 hours looking at one impressive aeroplane for the 1.765 seconds of "work" I had to do. :

Very cool!!! My aluminum skids and rear LCA skids are in the garage. Gas tank and diff skids are next.
