What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Among a few other small mods I have yet to post about on here, I installed my new Prinsu Designs full length roof rack in Sunday. Awesome rack! Light and strong, virtually no added wind noise.

Now I am designing and fabbing some brackets to mount my light bar. Stay tuned on my build thread for a bunch of updates over the next few weeks.

When did you put your order in for your Prinsu full-rack? I ordered my 3/4 on 2/26/16 and just got my tracking # today.

I Love Joshua Tree. Awesome Place. Looked Like U had A Blast ;-)

Bought a Baja Rack off another T4R member last week, then installed it right before I left for a camping trip this past weekend. Also made a mount for my Maxtraxx out of Uni-strut and a carriage bolt.

Went out to Joshua Tree NP for a fun weekend of drinking, hiking, and offroading.

Did a quick trail with my cousin this morning.

Leveled it off with my just arrived icon spanner wrench after my install. Icon 2.5 RR ext travel coilovers with CDC, rear 2.5's RR with CDC, SAW rear coils and Total Chaos uca's with 285/70/17 BFG KO2.

Removed front sway bar and it leaned driver 1" from Icon with full tank of gas. Went +6 turns driver. Non KDSS and 300 miles on it. Alignment tomorrow.

Any photos or write up of this? This seems like it would be really easy to do, but I don't think there's a post that clearly lays it out from start to finish.

I used this one about the Kappas for reference and this one here for the connector so I did not have to cut factory wires. I put the bass blocker on the positive lead per Crutchfield instructions. Sorry, I was in a hurry and did not take photos or do a writeup.

Did you drill holes in the roof to mount this rack?

Ok, its been about a week and a half but put in seat heaters for my wife. They came out nice.

Fired up the truck and tested the new Spod, FAIL, switches aren't working although power is going in according to meter... Will trouble shoot tomorrow.

Wife gets home Friday night, finally, in 11 years, longest we've been apart, somehow I think this is payback for me going to Overland Expo East and the Cove last year. Guess at this point she will have to witness me hacking away at the center console for the new CB, I think she has fully relented on the mods anyway.

Yikes! That's a long wait. The Taco forum had a large group buy that ended recently. He had a bunch of orders and has a full time job besides this. I ordered my full rack on 3/29.

I ordered it on 27 Jan. And got it just about a month later. I was only able to just install it given my free time, weather, and work travel.

Picked up five used 255/75/17 MTs for less than $200. Brand new spare too just fits underneath.

Left the bumper on but I did mask it all off. I did a full boarder around the strip then added another layer with newspaper, so 15" or so covered. Leaving some of the bumper exposed next to the strip and cover that with dip too. Makes pulling it off a breeze and you are left with a clean line. Took me an hour to do the front and rear strip with about 6-7 coats.
