...about a mile north of Gallatin Gateway off the 191...not exactly the boonies...but ya can see them from here!....LOL!....:drum:
...For the last 20 years I lived 30 miles from LA....waited till I could get here just before my 4Runner hit the port...saved almost $5K by NOT buying it in California!...Plus, the entire state of Montana has 1.5 million folks in it...
...LA...alone....as 6,946,000 CARS in it!...:jaw:...Holy-Crap!...
...Lemme know when ya hit the vicinity!....Cheers!
T4Rs are 5k less in MT?
Are you a wizard?...Yup...NO sales tax..and registration is only 439.00...as opposed to just over 5K in California....that goes the same for Oregon, where I bought it from..as they were the ONLY dealer in 11 states willing to deal well below MSRP....I got this one for about 2.25K less than that...on top of the 5K savings by NOT buying it in California!
...The folks over in Corvallis, OR were not only willing to deal...but Really nice folks, as well....My only regret is not being able to take it back there for servicing...as every other thing about the place was truly first-class!
...I'm an old-fart, and have had many vehicles from the US and other countries over the many decades...and this is the very First time I left without feeling like I got screwed in the process....Hell!....they even gave me a fair and decent price for my trade-in!...:dancin:
My advice, don't go 10K between oil changes,
There is zero data saying that you shouldn’t go 10k mile OCIs.

there's lots of data that say you can go past 10K miles. This aint the 1984's anymore.
I think 1984 only happened once.

Oregon has tax on new car purchases, they call it a luxury tax or something stupid. Was like 225$ on my 18 4Runner.

I got a wild hair and decided to see how much more clearance I gain by taking off the side skirts on my 2010 limited. Found pics online and found the 14+ trim parts needed to clean it up. My plan is to modify my nfab steps to fit up higher.

Just installed the Bluetooth Pedal Commander... With 4.88's and 35's being on the city setting is already awesome. SPORT +4 launches like a rape ape!!!
The Pedal Commander a better upgrade than the first my 2nd gen Sprint Booster..
And having the option to lock it onto eco mode is awesome...
