I got a wild hair and decided to see how much more clearance I gain by taking off the side skirts on my 2010 limited. Found pics online and found the 14+ trim parts needed to clean it up. My plan is to modify my nfab steps to fit up higher.

...Yup...NO sales tax..and registration is only 439.00...as opposed to just over 5K in California....that goes the same for Oregon, where I bought it from..as they were the ONLY dealer in 11 states willing to deal well below MSRP....I got this one for about 2.25K less than that...on top of the 5K savings by NOT buying it in California!
...The folks over in Corvallis, OR were not only willing to deal...but Really nice folks, as well....My only regret is not being able to take it back there for servicing...as every other thing about the place was truly first-class!
...I'm an old-fart, and have had many vehicles from the US and other countries over the many decades...and this is the very First time I left without feeling like I got screwed in the process....Hell!....they even gave me a fair and decent price for my trade-in!...:dancin:

Installed the v2 Ecotechne rack, absolutely love the look, but the wind noise is horrendous. planning on making a new wind fairing this weekend.
Also, powder coat isn't beautiful as you might see in some of the pictures i tried to touch up with bed liner which due to the roughness of the PC, matches better than black paint.
Can't wait to mount some lights, what do you guys think, 4 round pods or a 42 inch bar?

How much did the 14+ rocker trim cost you? I've been considering doing this.

If you live in California you will have to change the registration to CA plates. When you do that CA will hit you with the sales tax. You'll pay CA sales tax based on the MSRP, the estimated value or a sales receipt.

Just installed the Bluetooth Pedal Commander... With 4.88's and 35's being on the city setting is already awesome. SPORT +4 launches like a rape ape!!!
The Pedal Commander a better upgrade than the first my 2nd gen Sprint Booster..
And having the option to lock it onto eco mode is awesome...
I got the same and love it. How are those 35's working for you? Debating upgrading.. I have the Icon Stage 6 and wondering if the 35's will rub and cause issues later
Been lurking on here forever. Sold my 2003 stock 4runner and bought 2018. Just lifted it with Bilstein 5100s on all 4 corners. 1.75" in front. Daystar 1.5" Spacer in back (I wanted a little rake and btw, many people say 1.75" bilstein setting should be 1 inch spacer. My guy tried both and told me that I would not have liked the 1 inch spacer. He went for the look i wanted). Put on Fuel Vector D601 18 Inch Wheels, +1 Offset, Toyo 275/65/R18s. They stick out just a little bit from the fender wall, exactly like i wanted. Went to a place called Cutten Customs in Houston where every person i know with trucks gets their work done. He did NOT have to use a hub ring because he said the 108mm wheel bore fit on the 106mm 4runne hub with no room for anything. He also showed me how he used Black Spline Conical ET (for Extra Thread) lugs which basically made it lug centric. The ride is ridiculously smooth. Goes over pot holes in a glide instead of a thump. And makes it look aggressive. Here are two pics:
