It was worth a shot :gun6: They'll be my next purchase but I believe they are currently backordered. How many bars where you running?

I was only running two of the steel ones. I did mount the roof top tent and had no issues, but I also didn't do any crazy off-roading. If I were to be doing something that would throw the vehicle around more, I would have gone with 3 or 4 rails total.

They do say 2 rails is enough for the rtt, but better safe than sorry depending on what you are doing with the car.

Definitely left some aluminum on the trail. But I've beat the hell out of these plates and have been thoroughly impressed with the aluminum skids. Trying to do a Rubicon run soon, I'll probably have to take them off after that for some straightening haha

Installed a RAM mount in the dash. Super solid way to hold your phone for sure. It’s a 1/4” hole in a very inconspicuous spot if I ever remove it I have a couple easy ways to fill the hole.

Nice! So funny enough I think it was your post I saw that made me think about putting a washer on the outside too. I had a black one from some TV mounting kit I think ha. I ended up with a 3/4” long bolt on the inside which is way to long and I ended up stacking 4 washers. It works and doesn’t interfere with anything either.

It’s crazy how solid it feels. I was amazed.

I've always been fine with the factory TRD Pro wheels on my 4Runner, but finally got the increasing urge over the last year, to swap them out.

I thought I would stay with black, but after seeing a few cement Tacoma's on gunmetal Ray10's, that made the decision easier......Still getting accustomed to the color change though...

Looks great! I feel the same about my Trail wheels but recently started wanting more tire sticking out with no spacer.
Are these the -38 offset? Assuming you didn't have a spacer with the Pro wheels, do you feel the wider stance improves your handling on road?

after lifting the truck 1.5" all corners, I finally upgraded to 285/70/17s on GY Duratracs D load. getting a slight rub on full lock from the mudflaps. trimmed a bit on the front bumper and moved the fender liner forward.

gonna see if i can "massage" the mudflaps further with a heatgun. if it still rubs, just gonna have to take them off.

looks beefier in person, looks just right on photos compared to my 265/70 wildpeaks.

Thanks man!.....I actually went with the -10 offset, but I did keep the Spidertrax 1.25'' spacers on (for now), which gives about the same offset as -38. I just wanted to see how it looked with them on, and also see how much more I would rub compared to before the new wheels......(I've had the Spidertax with the TRD Pro wheels on both of our 5th Gens, since new, with no issues)

I haven't flexed it out yet to test for rubbing, but for street driving, it's still been fine, and that's with 285-75-17 Toyo MT's.

If I need to remove the spacers, or do some additional trimming/cutting, I will do so before I head out on a few week-long trips, starting in July.

It may be in my head, but I do feel the wider stance helps a little with the handling/stability, especially with the RTT on the rack....

Changed my spark plugs at about 91 000 miles with Denso 3421 Iridiums.
Dealer wanted close to $130 CAD and I paid $60 shipped from Rock Auto.

Easy install. Only had to remove one bracket that was in the way, didn't touch the airbox.

Drove it home! Bought a 2019 TRD ORP last week and mounted the RTT on the stock rails. Feels solid enough - will test soon. I noticed with the RTT and sunroof open there is a ton of air being pushed into the cab on the highway! Kind of took me by surprise at first.

Cool! I’m assuming the tie down hooks can’t be used for recovery? Just a question because I’m unfamiliar with the part, but is there a reason this isn’t filled in? From what I can see it seems like an unnecessary weak point.

heh yeah me neither..... Finally got my front (1.75") and rear 5100s and rear .75" cornfed spacer installed last night.

Overall the install didn't go too bad but definitely spent a lot of time fighting getting the trac bar bolt back in. It got a little late and I was getting impatient and saw the final step of just putting my wheels back on and then I looked down and couldn't figure out what these last two bolts were for then finally realized what I was missing.

The 4R is currently getting its alignment done and then I'm all set.

I am looking into doing this suspension upgrade. Can I ask why you went with a spacer in the rear?

Installed my very recently (yesterday) acquired, like new, sliding cargo deck that was shipped all the way from CA.:dancin: Thanks [MENTION=564104]blaforest73[/MENTION] for making this happen! This option is one of the top 4 or 5 things I love about the 4Runner and unfortunately Tennessee dealers don't order them with the deck.

How hard was the install? I have a 14 Trail I would like to install this on.
