Still T-Shooting the 3 Pax windows NOT being able to close from respected door controls. The lockout switch is working as supposed to. The switches are physically unable to be pulled up to close. Tried resetting per OM & from suggestions on-line to know avail. Hate to have to go to dealer for a re-set. But starting to think I have no other choice

Installed remote start. I've taken apart 4Runners way too many times, so it took me less than an hour. Helps that it was a plug and play system with only one wire requiring soldering.
Unfortunately I'm still having issues getting the cellphone module to work, but oh my gosh is it an amazing feature to have on any vehicle! Working with the manufacturer to figure out what I didn't wrong.
Here are the systems by the way:

Yeah, works with the 3X lock click no problem. Amazingly easy to install! I want to have the cell phone option though but it's giving me issues at the moment. I'm hoping for an easy solution. Soon will see.
How does this compare to the accessorides version. Is there a monthly subscription with the cell phone start capability?

I didn't do these today, but I did do them recently.
I got a couple of these Duragadget tablet headrest mounts from Amazon. They work with the Nintendo Switch nicely. There's a little learning curve to getting things set up right, but it's stable enough once you get used to it. I tried it out myself while my dad was driving my truck around town, and it worked as well as you could expect. I was playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and at least for me the characters were probably too small and the action too frantic for me to view totally comfortably while moving. I could see myself having a better time with something that has more simple graphics like the Sega Ages Outrun from the eShop or something.
I went with this one partly because it has good access from all sides for power connections. I didn't show it in the pictures, but I was able to plug a USB cable from the bottom of my Nintendo Switch to one of the rear USB power ports in the back of my 2020 4Runner, so my Switch was able to stay topped off through the whole trip.

The stock 4Runner headlights are pretty bad. These are some good replacements. I only drove at night with them once so far, but everything looked really clear through my windshield.

I can tell you it works without question and works as advertised.
Many areas around up and down the 395 and the CA desert have super weak reception that gives me a "no service" signal or 1X/3G. With the Weboost on in those same areas I get 3/4 bars LTE.
Now when I get high enough in the Eastern Sierra the cell towers are so far away the Weboost doesn't do a thing.

Installing Front Runner QD Tent Mounts to Rhino Rack
Hello all,
First of all, I am no expert and this modification was not specifically recommended by Front Runner or Rhino Rack. I did this at my own risk and if you choose to try this modification, I am not responsible for any failures.
I am posting this because I struggled to find any information on what I was wanting to do. My goal was to see if anyone had mounted a RTT to a Rhino Rack pioneer platform using Front Runner's QD mounts. If you haven't checked them out, they are awesome, but they are meant to go on Front Runner racks, not other racks. Because of this, the mounting hardware was unusable with my solution to mounting on the Rhino Rack.
Quick Release Tent Mount Kit - by Front Runner
My solution was to buy the following Rotopax mount from rhino rack because it included the plates that fit into the mounting grooves of the rack.
I did not use the bolts from either the Rhino Rack mounting kit or the Front Runner kit. The reason is I wanted stainless steel bolts for the added strength and the rhino rack bolts were too small. I ended up going with a 3/4" stainless steel button head bolt with M8 x 1.25 threading. In the picture, left is the new bolt, right is the bolt that comes with the rotopax mounting kit.
Because of the difference in size, I used a drill press and a 6.9mm or 17/64" drill bit to drill out a hole big enough for tapping with an M8 x 1.25 hand tap.
Lastly, I used the bolt with a split ring washer and mounted the Front Runner mounts to the Rhino Rack pioneer platform.
The mounts are super strong and I have no doubt it will be strong enough. I can mount and unmount my tent by myself in only a couple minutes. It is absolutely worth the price of admission. Let me know if you have any questions!

Do not use those LED bulbs, they are worse than your stock headlights. I promise.
