Installed SLEE Sliders on Hanzo that I've had sitting for a month. Knocked it out in about 6 hours going slow with my 2 sons. Honestly, I like the T4R with no sliders at all but the family needs a step (my wife has mobility issues and my 2 boys are still pre-teens).

They look good, but I agree I really like the way the 4R looks without them. And they get in the way unless you actually use them which I don't need to.

I'm on my 4th consecutive hour of trying to install the last stick nut of the Shrockworks rock sliders.

I cannot get this stupid FN nut in place. I'm so incredibly frustrated.

Have you heard the Borla S-Type?
I have the S-Type and I want to tone it down a bit.
I was wondering how loud the TRD exhaust is in comparison.

Only complaint about the S-Type is when I'm stuck in fourth and the drone gets annoying.

From what I’ve been told and have read, the TRD is more in line with what you want. The drone is little, if any. The sound at idle and low speeds is really good.

I installed a Borla 40665 muffler and have no drone at all. This is not a cat back but just the muffler. I'm pretty happy with it

Yeah I like the look with nothing there at all but I do find myself using them to wash the roof, use the roof racks, etc. Not that often but still. I'm 6'2" and still feel I do need them so they remain. I'm not a spring chicken either and so I'll probably need them more as the years go by. I don't use them to get in or out of the Runner. I put my right foot in, slide my butt into the seat then put my left foot in. I noticed just today that I'm wearing the weather stripping and the back bolster of the seat with my fat ass though so I think I'll have to change to left foot on the step, right foot in, swing in the butt missing the weather strip and bolster then left foot in. *sigh* this getting old shit, ya know? By the way, is that a Harbor Freight canopy there? I have one and it's great when the driveway is in the sun but I have to work on the cars.

I did the turbo XS I believe. Agreed the sound is awesome and no drone. Cut the exhaust and it dumps right by the rear frame.

I believe it's the Walmart "Ozark Trail" Canopy. It's cheap and I've had the same one for about 3 years now... has held up for a ton of traveling soccer games. I was wrenching for about 30 mins in the sun and had a lightbulb moment; so glad I thought to use the canopy for this sunny day!

watched the video, wow that is tedious. my hefty fabs were nothing like that, went on with all threaded holes. glad i chose them.

I put in an ARB rear locker with 12v air compressor, I also removed the 3rd row seat and made a storage area of my hi-lift, recovery rear and tools.

How much did it cost you for the parts in all? Did you install it yourself and if not how much was it to have done? I've been looking in to doing this, definitely above my pay grade, but want to pull the trigger some day if I can find the right shop.

I think i paid around $1,800 for the locker and installation at 4wheelparts. I can't fine the paperwork anymore but if you call them up they can give you a full quote on parts and labor.

They did a good job and I haven't had any issues with it.

I have the same set and didn't have to assemble or remove anything but I have an SR5. It was a straight-forward bolt-on. I made it harder on myself my rhino lining the steps and, as a result, the liner narrowed the holes about 1/8th of an inch which was just enough to make the job a raging c*nt to install since the bracket holes didn't line up nicely with the bolt holes in the body -I had to take a screw driver and rub the bracket bolt holes down to mat the liner down a bit to get a bit more space to work with.

Are you sure you got the right set meant for a Limited? I imagine they should be the same. Since you got it mounted, it should be the same as all the holes seemed to have lined up. Why did you take that cap off?
