Right rear axle bearing and seal this weekend. Get to fix the mistakes the previous owners mechanic made[emoji35]
They didn't know how to properly space the the ABS ring. So they just added an extra retaining ring!

Yesterday got new toyo open country at 2's c loaf so 6ply.
Today swapped out what look to be the original plug wires for some new dense wires. Seems to run a little better.
Shopping for new pads for my TBU....Looking at hawk HPS or LTS.

Bought some new intake & valve cover gaskets and a pair of H3s for my fog lamps... installed the fogs but still not functional. Checked fuses and relays, looking at the switch stalk next.
Also found some front fender flare extensions (mine are missing) at the junkyard; now just need the correct bumper.

New tires and addition to my blinker mod
Got my new Cooper ST Maxx 285/75/16s installed with a random spare of the same size that the tire shop just had laying around.
Also added to my already existing blinker mod.
I already had replaced the corner lights with 1157 switchback LED bulbs with a standard 1157 socket. It seemed that people were not really seeing my blinkers very well for whatever reason so I dug deep into my garage and found these 600mm white/amber LED strips that I ordered over a year ago that I was going to use for my blinkers but never did. I used "Right stuff" to adhear the strips to my plate bumper and just spliced the wires into my existing wiring for my corner lights.
Passenger side shows what the amber looks like aka the blinker and the drivers side is what it looks like on the first click on the lights aka the driving or parking lights. When lights are off they only flash amber like a normal blinker and when I have the lights on they flash white amber white amber ect...

King 2.5 Extended Travel Coilovers, SPC LIGHT RACING UCAs, MStudt' front sway bar extended links, Sonoran Steel 1.2 rear lift with Tokico shocks. I am digging it. I took it for a little road trip down to Tacoma with my special lady friend to celebrate with some tasty beer and some delicious chili dogs and brats at The Red Hot.

Looks awesome. The Red Hot is great!! The peanut butter bacon dog was weird to try at first, but is amazing!!!

I will have to give that a whirl soon. They have a fantastic beer selection. Heck, I even have to get their draft root beer when I am there.

I installed a 1" body lift from 4Crawler with the help of two other guys. It went pretty well except the bolts on the rear body mounts nand front bumper bolts had rusted pretty bad and needed some grinding and cutting. Overall it took about 5-6 hours. Also, the radiator fan shroud now scrapes the bottom of the fan a little bit and I have to figure out something with that.
I think we also bumped something on the ecu when we messed with the A-pillar molding because now when I start it up it revs way high for a few minutes, making me think the computer is wonky about something.

not today, but this weekend i replaced my front/rear sway bar bushings and mounts. couple questions though, because of my lift, do i need to look at installing longer rear swaybar endlinks? not sure if it is supposed to be flat and parallel to the ground, or the front links angled up slightly?
when i got under it, i realized the end links are shot, so theyll be getting replaced soon, figured if i need longer ones now would be the time.
also, can anyone identify these lift springs? previous owner installed them, trying to chase down exactly what lift i have on it. thanks!

I changed the power steering fluid using the Timmy the Tool Man YouTube video method. Luckily I have a vacuum pump so I didn't bother with stealing my wife's turkey baster. I went through two quarts of fluid before I got clear red fluid; the car seems to steer easier, especially when cold.
today? blew my transmission driving from NY to NV and am now in TN scratching my head :dammit:
trying to find out where to go from here

That sucks man. Check the radiator fluid and make sure your not milkshaked. No idea where you are in TN but a quick search of craigslist pulled this up:

There should be no meta washer. For the sway bar bushings. Should be washer/rubber/truck mounting/rubber/washer.

Drivers Side LCA Mounting Bracket Bent
For those that were following the WABDR trip and the Husqvarna that crashed into me back in August, I've got an update on the damage.

So Monday night after work I began my entire front suspension re-build, new LCA's with whitelines, new spindles with gussets. ITRE etc... What prompted me to begin this was the noise I heard in my drivers side front end every time I turned the wheel. Further investigation revealed a bad ITRE. Funny thing is I replaced those about two years ago. Befuzzled, I began the teardown and the rebuild...
When I went to install the drivers side LCA last night, I noticed the inboard stop/tab where the rear adjustment eccentric goes was bent. Looking at the mounting bracket from outboard to inboard I also noticed the front of that bracket was bent rearward.
That explained why my drivers side tire was rubbing on the rear of the fender.
The only reassuring thing is, I know I can bring this back into alignment as was proven in Wenatchee.
Well hey, for what it's worth I now have most everything back together and I have a set of spindles for [MENTION=7105]Scramble[/MENTION] sitting in my garage. I'll finish it up tonight.
Check out the last two photos to see how I re-installed the SPC bushings! Scared the daylights out of me. Was expecting the whole thing to go pop!
Notice how bent the inboard stop for the alignment eccentric is.
The forward part of the rear LCA attachment is also noticeable bent. I'm thankful that it can be brought into alignment. Hugo, over in Wenatchee did an awesome job. Once complete I'll bring the rig to Portland to get it aligned. There's a good shop over there.
Hey [MENTION=7105]Scramble[/MENTION] , I now have your spindles sitting in my garage. It was VERY tricky installing the SPC Light Racing bushings into the new spindles with the gussets attached. Something to think about.
No room to put a cup behind the bushings with the gusset installed. Lesson learned. I knew it pressed in from the top but never really thought about how difficult it would be to put on the press.
I'm not sure what I would have done without my other set of jacks lying around. They were the perfect size to use to press between the spindle and the press. Again, something to think about before you weld your gussets on.

Since they were paying I got some heavy duty alignment stops from total chaos. They've held up great so far. They can them cam tab gussets.

Thanks for the link! This is good to know. So I'm wondering how they can install the rear cam plates without removing the steering rack. It looks like it will need to come out again to remove that bolt. I'm hoping I don't have to tear into the front end again for quite a while. Added to my future to-do list...
