Hope all is going well, IanB. Glad to see how much protection these give us, and I hope they somehow manage to catch the ****er that hit you.

Got poly body mounts, new bushings for the rear lower control arms, new upper and lower ball joints up front, and new sway bar links up front. Feels like a dream, stiff as hell, but drives like a tank. Now I don't need to worry about LBJ issues.

I pressure washed mine for 2 hours yesterday, then hand washed it today. and guess what!!! Theres still mud coming off of it!

It was behind my friends house in an abandoned neighborhood development. They cleared the land and paved the road and then ran out of money. I was just doing donuts in the mud while it was raining lol

oh i know lol. ive washed it 3 times now and its still coming off. its mostly in the door jambs and under body now. probably going to do what i said i wouldnt do and run it through a car wash with an under body wash. i didnt want to be "that guy" but i dont think ill have a choice lol

Looking to lift it about 2.5 inches now.

Today - Used a clay bar and wax cleaner to remove all the dirt, debris and finish from the paint.

This week - Will be wet sanding and buffing the rougher areas of the paint before polishing and waxing later in the week.

Also want to refinish the roof rack, but haven't decided how best to do that yet. Suggestions are welcome.

i took mine apart and powdercoated it this last summer, turned out amazing and was so worth it, looks brand new

They're ok for now. I don't have much basis for comparison, but they feel a bit less capable than the TA/KOs I had on my old '86 4x4 pickup. With any luck I'll find a decent set used when these wear out.
