What's your definition of "Real" floor mats? lol!

I run Rubber mats in the winter, but like carpet for the summer. I'm actually kinda of proud to say I still have my 14 year old 0EM mats, and that they are still in good condition!

If I ever bought anything else, it would probably be Weathertech mats, but at $200.00 for set here, I think I'll just shampoo my mats every couple of years! lol!

I still have the originals too, but don't feel like messing them up. I just enjoy not worrying about spilling anything on the carpet ones. Makes life that much easier.

I drive around my 2 rug rats in there, and have had no issues so far. I guess it could get raunchy if they puked on the carpets or something... but that can be cleaned pretty easily using my method.

If it was closer I would have had a more serious look at that one, what are you going to put in for an engine? Another 3.4?

I got a partial VIN off a sticker on one of the bumper fragments I found at the scene, Chrysler dealer was able to confirm it was a '98 Dodge Stratus from the VIN, provided this info to the police, and now I wait, and keep looking for the car to get the plate #. There had been zero activity on my file when I updated the police, a week had passed at that point, very discouraging. I've got the last 8 digits of the VIN, which should point them at the ******* with very little effort, yet I'm not certain if anyone will even bother to look into it.

My though was to keep it simple and just do a 3.4 swap. But, I just found a 4.0 motor, trans, harness and T case for sale locally. Don't know if it's worth it though.

I'd love to grab the diesel drivetrain out of one if you happen to know of another one. I think it would be awesome to have but I don't know what would be involved with getting it through emissions and such.

So most likely 3.4 it will be.

Staying positive, because I am trying to be your positive morale throughout this, maybe they are doing things like keeping rapists off the streets.

Dinabox, I had those on my 1st gen for about 5 years. In that time I swear they lost about 1/8in of tread. I had great luck with them!

Ya I had to snag them, only $200 and I really wanted to see what 285's were going to look like. I'm VERY happy with them and the look now.

Just wondering, was your rear bumper originally chrome? And did paint it with spray-on bed liner?

Got rid of all my chrome, sprayed bumpers, grille, flares, mudflaps and rear air deflector with bedliner. Easy as hell to clean, durable and stays black.

Thanks Brian! I have still not fixed my idle problem, but I'll be ordering a used TB next week hopefully. Don't see to many red Runners around, I'm happy with her

The new one has an E-locker in it. The old one was open. I saw no reason why '96-'00s should have all the fun.
