Put new tires on yesterday, and installed the lift today...not too bad, only took around 4.5 hours.

Its actually the TRD Tundra lift with the stock Tundra billies and y/y y/b coils...its not a huge lift, but netted me around 1 3/4, almost 2 inches. Eventually down the line I'll get the 5100s, but not too worried about it now.

pulling the 2.7 out of my 98

Today I started pulling the engine out of my 98 4runner. It's been burning coolant on #1, the rear main and oil pan are leaking, etc. I've been stock piling parts: water pump, t/c set, engine mounts, etc for this.

So far, nothing worth noting. A couple of bellhousing bolts and the engine mount bolts, and she should come right out. I left my camera at home, so no pics.

I just enjoy the fact that I'm finally showing my 4runner some love after 217k miles.

Removed the OME 906 springs and replaced with sagged '99's. Then installed the 906's in a friend's '98 4runner.

Finally installed my wiring harness for my factory E-Locker. Harness is from The 12Volt Guy. Thanks to ARKRWLR for his guidance!

And I think I might need new tires.

Installing this Autometer 2-1/16th" gauge pod (part # 15411) on my 'A' pillar very soon.

It will house my auto trans. temp gauge (part # 2640), again, by autometer. Can't wait for my order to get here.

This is the non-OE red LED lit rocker (SPST Single Pole, Single Throw) switch I will use to turn on the trans. temp. switch rather than connect it straight to the ignition. I'll route the gauge light straight to my rheostat (dimmer) or to the ash tray ground.

Did my once a year oil change with Royal Purple and Wix filter. Also changed the diffs, trans and t-case fluid.

Then tossed some anti-skid on the rear bumper

Made a lock (doesn't actually lock) bar so my drawers quit sliding open. Made some L-brackets to actually hold the rear box to the floor. I was just relying on the spare tire's ratchet strap. Brackets use the factory tie down bolts so I threw the tie downs on the box. And there's a pic of my factory fog light now used as a third reverse light.

Finally blacked out all the emblems and license plate surround
