Randomly replaced my stereo today for the first time
Watched a couple you tube videos last night and then found myself in Walmart looking for a new stereo and installation parts. It was actually pretty fun. I'm new at working on, or at least trying to fix things myself. This is also my first 4Runner and it had a stock cassette player. 97 SR5.

New RPM Fab Front and Rear Plate Bumpers / Sliders
Got my bumpers from RPM Fab in Tempe Az finished up today. This is a new design they are introducing for the 3rd Gen 4Runners. After looking at a lot of rigs, and following some links on here in the bumper thread, There were not a lot of matching front and rear bumper still in production.
Originally when I talked to Don, I was looking at just a swing out spare tire spare time carrier, but during a visit to their shop, he showed my a dual swing out option with a ladder and a spare tire carrier. I found out today, that the production units will be modular, so customers can pick what they want.
I am pretty stoked...I wish the pics showed a better job of the workmanship, I was saving up for a supercharger, but am glad I opted to get these done. Now to start saving again for a supercharger!!

I swapped over the climate control and gauge lights to red LEDs just like the last one was. Have a couple that I need to figure out like the rear window switch, but I am overall happy with no more green!
Just put thoses new shoes! FJ wheels and BF All Terain!

What size tires?
I only have a 1" body lift and 1,25" wheel spacers. So the 285 will have rub to much.

Picked up a cargo cover, driver seat belt, radio bezel today.
Why are dismantling location people so damn lazy to check part availability? Guy said he has the TRD tundra springs I want for my lift but won't take them off until I pay for them. I'm sure they're not even the y/y y/b.

Swapped my steering wheel with an eBay one that I budget recovered - swap was easy once I figured out how to get the hornpad/airbag assy off.
