So today I finally did something I've been wanting to do for a long time. The grey cladding on the 03 sport/sr5 is kind of a love or hate thing and I like it. But I don't love it. So I plasti dipped it to see what it would look like black instead of grey. I absolutely love the look of it now. Fits me better. Maybe not some people

I'm a huge fan only because it gives me the leverage to test it out and if I don't like it. It can be removed. I personally think it gives the truck a whole new look and that's what I love. It seems like every time I do something to my truck it feels brand new to me and I always waste half a tank driving around to enjoy it.

That's the way it should be, you should enjoy what you do to the truck, and it should enhance the look and your joy at the same time. I love the look, I always wanted to do my cladding black when I had my 03

I've got the mold/mildew scent in my heater as well, have one of those frams sitting on my kitchen table waiting to be installed

Remote start installed!
I got a Viper remote starter for x-mas and my Dad paid for the install at Best Buy as well. Works great! I can be in my basement and start the runner on the other side of the house on the far side of the driveway. Definitely a must for these cold days as well as hot a$$ summer days. It runs for 12 minutes before the timer turns it back off. The vehicle remains locked, too. It does deactivate the keyless entry when its running, so I have to use the key. First world problems. The box says its good for up to 2,000 feet, but as long as it works from my bed I am happy.

Your viper remote doesn't have an unlock button? I have a CoolStart and I can lock, unlock, and remote start two different vehicles

Yeah my Viper system has 2 way remote with a 1 mile range. I can start it and lock/unlock and it will tell me on the key fob. Also rings when the alarm goes off too.

Lock. Unlock. Remote start. And the veh button lets me program the remote for two vehicles with a coolstart in it

I drove it when it was pretty cold out.
It was -4 when i drove this morning.
