Well that explains it, You live in Tucson AZ.
Nice work...
I'd have done it living in Bend even.
You guys have been hitting some high temps lately. My mom lives in Redmond, told me it was 102 there yesterday.

Good point, yup 101 at my place east side of Bend yesterday. I’ve got in-laws south of you in Green Valley. Toasty this time of the year for you down there.
Was your Trans cooling Mod pretty straight forward? And/or key tips you can share?
I always feel bad for the people that live in the rust belt. I'm especially grateful when I work on my cars that have lived in the southwest.I installed new fuel tank support straps on my '03 V8. Next is scrape, sand, prime/paint RCI fuel tank skid which is badly rusted after about 3 years.

Power tools are a game changer. I started tearing apart my suspension for a refresh on my LCA's and some other goodies and holy Batman it makes everything easier and faster. Should have bought sooner lol.Yes, every project is more of a battle due to rust, it's really terrible! Both strap bolts were rusted in place, rear one I twisted off so 2 hours of drilling out, the front bolt I used my new electric impact on and it broke it free and took it out.
I then spend 10-15 minutes thoroughly hand greasing the bolts and washers I put back in. When I see pictures of rigs from SW and see undercarriage makes me drool!

Put some vintage style TRD stickers on it, removed the lettering from the doors and went for a casual drive down some dirt roads.

Don't know if anyone watches Mustie1 on YT but he's from my area so deals with rust often. He suggests bar and chain oil to keep frames from deteriorating because it's so sticky. So today I brushed some on the old girl in the middle section to see how it would go. Messy but looks better than rust. I think I'll be buying a sprayer and wand soon so I can do the inside. Fluidfilm sure didn't last long.
Project farm did a pretty good video on this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyWHF4NoNVk
