What do you love the most?

lots of people (myself included) have complained that the lumbar support pops/creaks/shifts about. it's annoying and there's a thread about it here on the forum. glad to hear yours doesn't do it, though.

Do you find that it gives you a smoother ride? I am thinking of swapping my 20's for some 17's as well. I think it will handle the small bumps and pot holes a little better with 17's. Also I am curious if you went with slightly wider tires?

Mine does this too. Sooo annoying!
 
Although I've only had mine for 100 miles, what I love the most is that you can actually accelerate. My 2008 Jeep Rubicon couldn't even get out of it's own way with 5.13 gears, especially here in the mountains. It's so good to be back in a 4Runner (had a 1987, 1997 and 2005 prior to this one).

It's nice not feeling like you have to get out and push isn't it. I can't imagine having a Rubicon in the mountains. Mine, in the hill country here, was painfully inept going up small hills on the highway. I had a 2005 Rubicon Unlimited.

The powerband on this thing is really cool. I have never had this sort of torque, so I guess the skeptic would say that I am prone to being easily impressed, but nonetheless, it rocks for me. I'm not slamming my old '03 Matrix XRS because I knew what I was getting it when I got it, but as many would know the 2ZZ had everything, and I mean everything, up top (max horsepower at 8200 rpm and not much prior to that with max torque kicking in at 6800 rpms). Going up a hill is a chuckle now where it would strike fear into the heart of my clutch in the XRS.

I"m happier with the ride quality on 17's and 265/70/r17's. To me it just feels better and rides a little smoother. Plus now i'm not terrified of hitting the rim against something and bending the crap out of it, cuz i have more sidewall.

Absolutely a better ride in my opinion. It is much smoother over the typical small road bumps and on the highway it feels like it sticks to the road better.
 
Not sure what I like the most, but I certainly do get a lot of compliments on the way it looks......many have complimented the interior and think it's "kicked up.".....It gets a lot of attention because, at least in my area, it's rare to even see a 5th gen. on the road. I've encountered only one two or three in the past few months besides mine.
 
TOP FIVE:
1. Backup cam on Nav screen for backing up to trailer tongue.
2. Beige leather, seatbelts, and headliner!
3. JBL stereo rocks!
4. Styling and ride...the vehicle just looks and rides classy all around!
5. The rear window for doggie of course!
 
Talking about compliments, a couple of days ago I was at a traffic light with an city bus next to me. the bus driver opened his window and gave me a thumbs up and said 'sweet ride'.

Two months ago a Mercedes Benz driver was behind me for half a mile and our destinations were the same; the local Subway. Once we got inside, he started to compliment the vehicle and asked for vehicle details as he was also wanting to buy an SUV, particularly a 4Runner.
