What fuse relay box do you have?

Spod makes a Spod only option for $320 bucks and you can run it to factory switches very clean look

Mine is still mostly a box full of parts...I only have the main power triggered relay setup and still designing the bussman.

i am planning to utilize the trail toys NSA box. I already have it and on this glorious 3 day weekend i plan to get it all wired up.

i had purchased a cooper bussman a few months ago. I never got it installed or wired up or anything and got a great deal from a local seller on the trail toys NSA box so i went that route. (my cooper bussman is for sale in the non-t4r items sub forum: Bodoke0326 Cooper Bussman Box somebody make me an offer :nerd: )

I hung out with Nathan from trail toys and he of course has one installed and it was so awesome to see him operate his winch remotely with it as well as turn on lights, his compressor for his locker, and any other items he had wired to it.

I vote the Bussman for simplicity. Here is mine sitting where it will live. All you need to do is move the doohickey with the heat-sink, which is in the picture just below the relay box. There are already holes here as well.

To simplify wiring, I am running a single run of semi-truck trailer wiring through the firewall (all of 3 feet). The trailer wire has 6 stranded wires in a nice insulated bundle. This will run to AOB switches.

No problem, I'm also running one and they are very well built and fit in the spot pictured above perfect. The switch wires are the perfect length to reach all the switch pop outs right under the mirror and dimmer controls too. The only thing I have installed that was too much draw for the relay was my ARB compressor, they handle all of my lighting great.

Only draw back is now that you have so many relays and fused circuits you just want to buy more stuff to run off of it.

I have a littlefuse fuses box in my truck. Its about a tenth of the cost of the busman and holds more than 5 relays.

I am running low current/amperage devices and relays off of an FZ-1 box. Any combination of six switched circuits or unswitched circuits are available. Separate fuse for each. Using for radar, CB, light relays, etc. Works great in those situations. Mounted in center console.

Every complete kit will have a main breaker or fuse based on the capacity of the kit for safety.

Short circuit protection in case too much current flows to the fuse box. Just because the circuits are fused doesn't mean it's entirely safe. Since the fuse box itself can only handle so much current, the breaker is there as added protection.
