What package has the best ride TE or LE

thanks that would be a interesting read with a full on build on a gx. They seem to be a pretty rare vehicle,I dont see many offered in the auctions im looking at. how many 2010 4r are out there comparison to the gx?

Here ya go, it was an 07 GX but I don't think the generational difference are as notable on the GX. Little better body to fix the roll, KDSS now standard along with XREAS, updated interior goodies, etc... But it was neat to see what they did to a brand new 50k vehicle and how capable it became.

At one point after changing jobs and selling my truck I considered buying the GX from my mom. The 07's thirst for premium ended that though. While thinking about it I did browse the net some and you'll find some dedicated owners out there. Nothing like this great place but I've seen more than a few good looking GX's on 285's.

All the best on your decision and hope your busy test driving lots of options. I guess I'm routing for the GX a little because it seems you've had good luck in the past and like the appointments Lexus puts in their rigs, obviously prefer something with "get up and go" (I.E. username) and the GX comes with the v8 we all want, and ya wanna stay in the Toyota family.

There should be links in the article to "trailLex" parts 1,2,3,&4. Bumpers were custom built. Don't think there's anyone out there making bumpers for the GX (I could certainly be wrong) but it may be possible to modify one of the hidden winch mounts or maybe a bumper from a Prado? Seemed to do great offroad, albeit after serious mods. In the real world I'm sure it'll take you just about anywhere you want to go in your new rig.

GX seems to meet your criteria but if much more than a mild lift is in your future maybe it's time to go back to the LE T4R.

Definitely drive both if they are each in your price range. Buyers remorse is a horrible thing.

thanks,I dont think id put a lift on a 2010 gx,maybe just the largest tire it could hold on a aftermarket wheel. Its deff growing on me the more I look into it, Wish it had the same 8 speed tranny the GS and LS had,guess they couldnt get it to work with the transfer case
