What tires are on your limited?

100% gone and straight as an arrow. 3 road force balances later though, but it's fine now.

I'm pretty sure it's just hard to balance these 20"s.

I put on winter tires (blizzaks) and road forced them = no more shimmy.

3k miles later (and some spirited driving in snow fields) and the shimmy is back in a *very* slight way.

Sure is annoying....

Had Bridgestones for 13000 miles with no issues. Switched over to FJ wheels and Silent Armor 255/75/17. Luv the new tires because they feel and look like truck tires!

It sounds like you have reached a point where you should review your state's lemon law, document your problems and dealer visits, and go find a lemon law attorney to get a fix for this.

It does sound like a safety issue to me. Good luck.

I cannot understand the non-standard, odd ball 20" rims on the 4runner LTD. Who comes up with this stuff?
