Whats the fastest....>>

Hit the rev limiter often on Vegas runs. Pretty damn annoying to have to feather the throttle to not have to hit the shut off. Even my 9 year old was annoyed on our last trip as he was recording the run using the GPS app on his iPhone. His response was that's all it has? He and his brother prefer mom's Benz (even had to pay extra to reprogram that car to get all the top end released) for those trips. Bragging rights on the school playground I guess.

I was just wondering what they would do, if it was limited or now. As I bought it yesterday, i'm not yet willing to run it to see what it'll do. Looking at the speedo saying 120.... uuuuuhhh, not so sure I'm down for it in this.

I'll do 80-85 if I'm an a hurry, but for the most part, I cruise at 70-75. TE likes to walk across lanes too much with those DuraTracs.

I think my next set of tire will be Falken WildPeak A/T's... reading some great reviews on these tires.

Plus I drive about 30k miles a year, so I need something a little less aggressive.

I've cranked it up to 95 or 100 when passing, but I probably shouldn't take it so high with these tires. Oh well. Usually cruise at 75-80 mph. It's surprising how quick it can jump from 75 to 95! :lookout:

did 90 the other day on accident while passing somebody. Didn't even realize it. felt good, plenty of power left.

also, in high school i did 137 in a lexus LS400. I think i did it in '97 or '98, the car was a '91. Looking back it was sooo stupid. but, at the time, i was a kid. idiots.

thank god i'm still alive to talk about it.

not sure exactly how fast but I've gone over 100 in short bursts. I don't do it often but it happened on a road trip once or twice. I normally cruise around 75-80 depending on traffic.

Another vote for Duratracs...little louder than stock but great aggressive look, good on-road manners (mind you they are still ATs on a large truck), and EXCELLENT off road.

After break in, I decided to find the cut off point on the tollroad one day. Mine shuts down at a little over 115 mph. I admit, over 100 was a bit hairy and I definitely fill the wind resistance. The hood flux was also very noticible at that speed. I won't be doing this experiment again anytime soon... I average about 80 everywhere and I don't even notice i'm doing 80. FWIW, gas mileage at 110 mph was rougly 13mpg. ha.

on stock tires max has been roughly around 80 but I only have 1700 miles on. mostly from home to work. Getting about 18 ish mpg for now.

I was doing about 80mph average on the way to Vegas yesterday. Went over 85mph a couple times. Made the 300 mile trip on 3/4 tank of gas. Averaged about 17-18 mpg. Not too bad for Load E 33" mud tires.
