When will the Bilstein 6112 be released?

That alignment is what the average shop will target it at. Mine on the 4th notch and 2.5" of lift was placed back in spec. However, he said he had to use every last bit of adjustment to get there. If any more is needed in the future I'd need aftermarket UCAs. This is about the same result I got with the 5100s maxed out on the Wife's old FJ (same front end).

4Runner714, they got yours really even BTW. Good job.

I think '15WeissRhino was set at the second groove ... (post #89)

Yes, mine are on the second groove(0.5 inch average lift). I'm down from the 1.75" to about 1.5 inches above factory in the front now. Installed the 5160's on the rear a couple weeks ago and then had it aligned a second time last week. Gained about 1/8" in the rear with the new shocks. My alignment specs are in the green and almost exactly the same as 4Runner714 specs. Really like the ride, very stable and absorb the big bumps nicely. Here are a couple photos:

Looks good. Looks like we are seeing consistent 2.5" lift on the 4th setting. Bilstein should do something and update their info...

On an unrated note, its amazing the difference on the amount of rust on the underside depending on where you live. Just looking at your pics I could tell you were up north somewhere. Bought mine from a guy up in Maryland and I have some rust on my from the salt/brine.

looking good...wish I had gotten the front shock boots to match the rear.
also debating if i should get the billet mount. The supplied L-screws for the bracket broke off.

Thanks man! Gotta love the damn salt, bought it new, 21,000 miles later, it's absolutely disgusting how much undercarriage rust there is.........it's not even my daily driver!!!!!!! Think that's been covered in another thread :behindsofa:

Still contemplating moving from 4th to the 5th notch........decisions, decisions :noidea:

Boots are generic, Pro Comp cost $6 for the pair. They are long, so when sliding them on keep pulling down until the top of boot is same height as top of piston, then trim off the excess (think it was like 5 ridges) and add wire tie.

Billet bracket is the way to go!

I don't think mine will settle down .. Is almost half an inch higher in the front since is 4x2.. I might need to go down to the first setting no lift..

My rear is stock maybe that's why I gained so much plus I'm 4x2..

yeah, if i get a day when i have absolutely nothing to do, I may jack up my runner and sand off the rust at the weld spots and spray some Tru-Galv or something.

i just noticed that. How come ours didn't come with boots on the 6112? Different distributor? Didn't know that was an option. Oh well. Im sure as hell not taking it apart just to put those on.

The cheapest place i found the billet mounts was on autoplicity, where i got mine. I check my reservoir at every fill-up and its still holding tight.

They aren't an option from Bilstein on the 6112's, I purchased them from a different supplier. Figured for 6 bucks it would be a good idea to try.

too bad it's more hidden behind the wheels and tires. the frame mount is more expose then the billet.

get lift coils in the back.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I spoke to junior from bilstein and told him that I was getting 2.25 inches of lift on the second setting (nose high). He told me that he has a 2013 4Runner 4x2 and he has his set on the lowest setting his truck came out perfectly level with bilstein 5160 in the rear with stock coil. He also told me that Toyota has 8 different coil spring that's why all the measurement is off..
