Which sliders for my 2015?

I am willing to bet the OP is not going to take his brand new rig out and beat it to hell right off the bat. Why pay more money for something that "looks cool" ???

I choose OPOR because they do the job for what I want out of them. :driving:

Price is good and they have a quick build time.

I'll be completely honest, I bought OPOR for the price and the build quality. I dont have a hi lift so I'll never jack on them, but they are stout as all get out for what I do. They are primarily a step for my wife, a door ding deflector, for looks (honestly), step for me to wash the truck, and provide access to the roof rack. I have a family and a budget, these don't break the bank and you don't have to wait 3 years for them. End rant.

I'm not sure how I feel about the bump out on the rear, makes sense but not sure I like it aesthetically.

I honestly torn between the OPOR and the Shrockworks. Keep the opinions and pics coming guys.

I just received my shrockworks sliders in the mail after a spring group buy. I can say I was blown away by how sturdy they seem. I haven't bolted them on yet but just picking them up out of the box, it's clear they are extremely stout. Hopefully I'll have them on before my next trail run.

Price, build and shipping cost

I'll probably go with the Demello weld on sliders ($400) because they look well built. The shop is less than an hour from my house so I can save on shipping if I buy from them. When the time comes I'll probably ask them if they'll install them for me, since I'm not a great welder. If not I may buy the bolt on ($450) and weld the bottom edge of the mounting plates, as they recommend.

Shipping cost can be significant. I priced it at $200 for one source. Someone mentioned $50 but I don't know from where to where. Anyone have shipping price feedback?

I looked at the OPOR and while it's a good price, the tube size and thickness is not as stout.

The metal tech sliders look really good but I'm not sure the wider, bent U-shaped tube is as strong as a square tube. It would be much stronger with a continuous inside web plate (where the strut arms attach).

ShrockWorks sliders look really fine but a 3 month delivery time is just too long for me.

Even though we may never jack the car with a high-lift by the rock sliders, they still take the weight of the car on one side whenever we slide over a rock. And we may need to jack the car by the sliders some day...
