Well Phil already mentioned you can get the whole kit for cheaper here...Bi-xenon FX-R Stage III Kit - Complete Kits from The Retrofit Source LLC
Yes the labor is what cost unless as he said you do it your self.
I picked up mint s2k ap1 projectors for $250,new Philips 85122 D2S bulbs for $55 and $20 for shrouds, all off ebay and I already have some Hella/Philips ballast so $325 total so far.
Turns out the headlight front lenses do come off with heat as demonstrated by 9hooker.The outside lens is in two pieces and is what is permanently crimped.

How did you configure the bi-xenon and the high beam reflector?
Can you use your high beam reflector also or just the bi-xenon projector?
So now, to unwad toystry's panties, I spent within lunch money of $1K. This could have been for a few hundred less depending on components, but I went top shelf, with Bi-Xenons and Philips bulbs.
Looks really good. Can't wait to see the night shots. What temperature is that?

What does dude use to seal them back up? Is it durable and similar seal to OEM?
They look good by the way.......compliments the BP nicely.
Oh, and panties unwadded :thumb3:
4300K. I studied up on this, and 4300 is the nearest to natural light, plus it yields the most lumens. win-win imo.
Both the projector and reflector high beams are wired to come on together. Lightwerkz left a very nice pigtail with crimp connectors hanging out of the bi-x's, so it was fairly easy. I'll detail it in my write-up. I have upgraded halogens in my reflector HB's which are pretty white, so the two HB's together look pretty good. I have kick-ass high beams now. I am very happy with my choice of a bi-xenon projector.
You could install it either way.
No idea, but it sure looks good, and Lightwerkz knows their stuff, so I have no concern.
i still have TSX projectors for anyone interested. perfect for this project...
