This is just my stupid opinion, we can vote all we want to and it does not matter. The people in power are going to put who ever they want in office. I do not think they want Trump because he will not bow down to them among other things. Start practicing saying Mrs. President.

- take everything at face value
- are lazy
- love to blame their problems and lack of drive on anyone other than themselves
- are uneducated
- do not get information from diverse sources
- watch too much TV
- think what they see in movies is real
- watch too many movies
- believe what "Facebook says"
We, as a people and society, will get EXACTLY what we deserve. Terrorists need not trouble themselves with destroying our way of life........we are doing a fine job of it ourselves.

Historical reality:
We are looking at Trump being a candidate because the recession created by the Bush administration put a lot of people out of work resulting in their losing what they could no longer afford - their home, car, utility bills, food etc.
Those are the people that support Trump. They are angry because the U.S. leaders screwed them over and they lost their piece of the pie. They may think they're blaming Democrats but that's just a lack of understanding of what caused their losses.
The reality is the majority of Trump supporters are blue collar, lower educated, less informed, believe what they read on the web and want change. They want their pre-recession lives back and mistakenly think Trump is the answer.

Being an immigrant, this is the most relatable post on this subject yet. I have many friends from Europe, Australia, S. America and Asia and we all share the same opinion as you, most Americans just don't want to accept these facts, I guess its a pride thing.

Yet nobody blames this generation of American people themselves for being largely weak and shallow people who want, want, want now, now, now without working, working, working to make the real money to make their desires truly affordable. Instead they live beyond their means without driving their own futures......or they are driving SO HARD because they selfishly want SO MUCH that they forget that they have children at home only to have them raised by someone else.
People from other countries have taken our jobs both on our homeland and abroad because they are largely BETTER than we are. Starts with dedication to education and the foundation of a family......see where we rank globally on both.......you'll want to vomit.

The point I'm gradually eluding to is that you should expect these type of candidates when the voters fail to hold their parties accountable or even acknowledge their own failures and mistakes as illustrated by ndcent and CXS.
