Will a 2015 SR5 Premium require rocker trim cutting after running board removal?

YES! I have read many posts and threads that I have searched, and I am still a tad confused.

If I remove my rigid running boards, will the rocker trim remain on the vehicle and can be used with slider? will there be trimming like in the earlier models, or are 14+ OK to use without cutting or modification with slider.

The 2015 SR5 rocker panels are the same as the Trail, You can take off your running boards and it will not affect the rockers in anyway (at least to my knowledge). Once you remove your rigid running boards you will not have to do trimming to fit sliders. I recommend BudBuilts as that is what I have but there are many brands that you won't go wrong with.

P.S. there are normally guys looking for rigid running boards in the FS/WTB section of this forum so you maybe able to unload them here unless you have other plans.

Yes you can leave the trim on after you remove the running boards. As to whether you can leave the trim on and install sliders depends on where you get the sliders from. Some require removal some don't.

Looking at your signature, how much cutting, or body mount chop, did you do to get the KM2's to fit after your lift?

I did not have to do anything to the Body mounts I did however have to remove the front mud flaps, I could have trimmed them but I thought it looked bad and I attempted to deform them with a heat gun (I think this could be done if I had put more work into it) but after trying 1x, they still rubbed so I just removed them. On the front bumper I moved the fender liner forward per write up on the forum and then I had to trim ~1/8" off the front bumper with a razor knife (you would never know unless you knew what you were looking for).

Quick question here...i am about to purchase a 2015 Trail Premium with the Rigid Running Boards. I do not want these as an option, but there is very limited availability in the area. If i remove them, will it look stock underneath or need any modifications?

Yes it will be fine. Takes ten minutes to take the boards off. I did the same.
