Wiring cheat sheet for 5th gen 4Runner

This is a good go to to find wire colors in your 5th gen. This is from a tech website we use at our shop i thought i would share cuz i think this should help a lot of people out. Anyway here ya go.........

A lot of this info applies to all 5th gen 4runners. Very few changes were made through the different years and slight differences with or without smart key (limited)

Just wondering if anyone has any information on the wiper defrost. I did not see it in the chart.

I am trying to wire my rear defrost, mirror defrost, and wiper defrost to come on when the vehicle starts.

Going to wire all three to a winter switch so that in the winter, flipping the switch causes all three to turn on at vehicle start.

Turning the switch off resumes normal operation for summer.

Any info would be appreciated...thank you all.

This is from a program called Directechs you have to be an authorized distributor for access. I can get this info on virtually any vehicle. I figured this would be useful as I have a copy of this in my glovebox and use it all the time. I got a pm for a wire color and had the idea to post it for everybody, I am glad you all like it and if anyone needs a color for a different make/model/year just pm me. Thanks
