Yep, I thought so.

You got a lot of LEDs there. Where are they all going. What do the different colors signify, if anything?

Before I knew I only needed white LED's if I was going for the OEM look. Colors signify led color. The big green ones were ordered before I saw yours with white gauges.

Do you find the LED lights very bright at night?

I have to replace a few bulbs, but was thinking of sticking with OEM as I dont want super bright lights shining at me while driving in the dark.

The great thing is that led have a minimum voltage that will actually turn them off when the voltage drops super low. As you turn the brightness knob it will actually turn them off. So you can get them super dark or even off.

Ok, I'm confused. Sorry. I've sifted through the information but am a noob with this bulb replacement stuff.

All I want is the OEM style/color lights replaced for those that have burned out.

ie. 4x4 and cruise.

Does the OEM bulb convention follow the same numbering? And where do I find them?

You can find all the stock bulbs at a parts store. They should go by the same numbering too.

Minor update: been working on this the today and my gauges are not set up like the picture shows at all. Learned this the hard way when I went solely off the picture and put the color lights in only to see weird combinations of colors. I will post my layout later today in case anyone else has this issue. Also the 4wd is not in location 17 like stated but actually 3 seperate lights that sit between the turn signals. They are neo4 lights and I used cool white because that's just what I had on hand but they are 2 green and 1 amber. Here's the spot. Sorry it's not clearer but the 2 larger lights you see on top are the turn signals.

Like I said this write-up could very well be the set up most people have its just not the set up I have in my 2000 limited.

Dash lights

Just got back from the dealer - ordered 4 for mine - they don't stock these suckers at places like Pep do they? $8 each - but after seeing the funky plastic bases don't feel too badly ripped off. I'm replacing Check Engine, both of the VSC lights (that are on all the time because of P0171), and the "D" indicator - was surprised that the "D" bulb was the same as the ones on the other side of the dash...

first wanna thanks shootmymime for this awesome write up. Followed everything since I have the climate control. It came out ok some areas are brighter than the rest.
Im happy with the results.I ordered everything from superbrightleds
Most difficult to do was the ect/rr window switch bulbs

See the large line on them on the bottom left. (About 10). Then there is a gap of nothing. Well counting backwards from right to left. It goes. P n r d. So the 4th one from the right. Is your drive light. Look at this picture and I'm sure you can flip things around in your mind to figure out what one is drive. Follow these instructions and you shouldn't have a problem.
