Xenondepot Hid Late for over a month

Hi everybody I place a order from Xenondepot H11 4300 back on Feb 08 and until today
march 22,I haven't see my order,I spoke with steve several times,email many times and a lot of excuses,now am getting worried I spend $ 260.00 plus $20.00 delivery.is anybody in the same situation with xenondepot.any sugestions..

I have never had any problems with xenondepot

That is odd to hear, I have seen many that have dealt with Xenondepot and have never heard anything other than stellar reviews, I am sure there is an explanation.

Steve is on this forum frequently and I am sure will chime in.

Dont worry, they will pull through. Many of these have been back ordered.

Ebay about 50-60 shipped and I recieved it in less then a week, not sure why people still throw their money away on 250+ plug in play kits. Unless your getting a retro-fit or somthing of amazing quality I just dont get it.

Warranty? Wiring harness? Seller is going to be around? Just some of a few thoughts to consider. The same reason buying a Toyota SUV vs. another.

Agreed, we're talking about an HID kit that's marked up like crazy if its touching $100 these days.

Warranty? Wiring harness? Seller is going to be around? Just some of a few thoughts to consider. The same reason buying a Toyota SUV vs. another.

Warranty, Yes, 2 years. Wiring harness, Yes (no relay as thats always additional and only sometimes required). Seller around for years, Yes.
I totally understand the mentality of buying with peace of mind that your product will be guaranteed for a period of time, however we're talking a purchase of $100, not $30k.

I ordered my set over a year ago and they are still running strong!!! I bought mine from Xenondepot and have had no problems. I ordered mine and with a week or two I received them.

Funny to see this post about delivery issues...

Here's my story,

I placed my order in February ..I think middle of. I got nothing, so I sent an email over to Steve at Xenon Depot....and he assured me they'd ship, as soon as they were in stock. I ordered the 4300K Kit with Phillips bulbs...and in there lies the problem. The Phillips bulbs were on back order. So yes...lots of weeks have gone by, but I continued to have patience and Steve assured me that it would ship ASAP once the bulbs came in. He didn't lie....sure it took awhile...but I wanted quality....I wanted Phillips, I wanted this specific kit that I ordered. Today, UPS shows it will be delivered and I'm STOKED. HAHA...I waited awhile for this...and it's perfect timing considering I'm now on break from school.

Steve is a man of his words as I've learned. He has a great reputation here on T4R.org and his HID products are fantastic as well as quality and THAT's why I ordered them from him.

To the OP, you originally put the date as February 2008....I have to question that...did you mean 2010? A 2 year old order not coming through, I find hard to believe so maybe it was a typo?

Either way, the Phillips bulbs are back in stock (and possibly other things were out of stock as well) but I assure you that Steve is legit and he will deliver. As I said, I waited quite awhile....longest ever for a delivery....but I understood the situation, there was a backorder, it will ship when the bulbs (in my case) are back in stock....and low and behold they DID ship...and I will actually be getting them today!

I'm kinda disappointed though because I'm at a different address than my billing and they only ship to billing so I had to send it there and then have someone pick it up and forward it to me. Other than that, great price, great service.

You know what is sweet? These kits keep getting better and better. The are becoming more water tight, sleak and sophisticated. They are obciously learning from past mistakes and evolving the kit. Love this company. Others should take lessons.

:iagree: XenonDepot is constantly making their kits better and better as time goes. Case in point, the new wiring harness, has the relay heat shrinked protecting the terminals from the elements.

How can anybody think that something that SELLS for $25-$35 can be of any quality whatsoever? Businesses exist to make money so what do you think these kits are worth wholesale?

Go with the tried and true. Like Uneek said, that is what 4Runners are all about.
