YotaKyle's 3rd gen T4R build

I call BS. They were tough the first time, but I ended up clamping down hard with some channel locks and got them out. Uninstalling the Bilsteins for round two was WAY worse than getting the factory shocks off.

Also, stuffing those damn LC 7.5 wraps in there was exponentially harder until I got wise and realized I just needed to go ahead and drop both sides of the rear axle at the same time.
Did you ever get your Icons put on??

Looking great! I have subscribed.

I am not to far away from rebuilding the front end of my 2000. I have done LBJ so far. Steering response is good and solid but I am noticing a leak on the passenger side of the steering rack.

Good luck!

aside form unbolting the panhard rod, I found dropping both sway bar links, then jacking up the side opposite of the side your installing the spring made it much easier as the side your installing the spring will pivot down
but requires two floor jacks, one under diff and one to jack up the opp side

So I apologize for not updating in so long... I have been BEYOND busy and slowly did things little by little on my ride... I order all new gaskets to replace the valve covers so ill be diving in to that soon, but for now I'll provide some pics and quick updates... I got all of my new control arms and ball joints replaced and finally got started on the lift. I initially went with the OME 906 coils in the rear.. I didn't quite gain the height I was thinking I would but I waited until I got my front Tundra TRD coils and Bilstein 5100 (new upgraded part number now) placed in. I wound up going on the second perch from the bottom on my Tundra Bilsteins. This netted me about another 0.5 inches above my current daystar spacer lift. And caused my rear 906 coils to set exactly a little over an inch lower. I luckily resold the 906 coils and ordered the OME 890s and boom! Perfect set up and I love it!

*note* I did wind up having to grind on my steering knuckles to prevent contact with the front coils...

I went ahead and replaced my drivers side CV Axle that had a slight tear (will reboot for spare) with a lifetime Napa Maxdrive Axle.

I then got my 1inch Toytec Diff drop placed in about 10 mins.

I plan to add on a panhard drop bracket and weld extra support bracket to make it super durable.

Finally after completing all major suspension work I got it aligned with a new shop near my house and they did a fantastic job! I will no doubt use them in the future.

Anyways, here are a few pics throughout the process! Any questions feel free to ask!
