I wonder if they take it out to cut it or if they just went after it by crawling in and using some kind of cutter on it ?

I'll either change it out myself or put some friction tape on it. May be quite involved to take it out and replace it, will look into it tomorrow.

Just got my peddle shaved today and the invoice also indicated some kind of computer flash. Wounder what that is for?
When I called to set up appointment I asked for the new peddle but a few days later when I arrive on the appointment day they did not order so I just let them cut and so far I don't think it will bother me but I will give it a few more days.

I just noticed they actually cut my weather tech floor matt to!!! bas****s it wasnt even close to the pedal especially after the cut an inch off the bottom of it WTF. how do they have the right to damage my personal paid for NOT CHEAP property that they have nothing to do with legistically anyway???

Got my second notice today. I am not sure if I want them to fix it because it doesnt bother me at all. I also bought digital fit weathertech mat.

Went ahead and brought mine in. Better safe than sorry. I wear a size 12 anyway and didn't notice a difference. Wish I had known a new pedal was available because I would've asked for that.

I needed a new drivers front mat anyway since my heel dug a hole in my current one. Dealership had no friggin clue though. I had removed my AW mats and placed them in the trunk beforehand, then when i went to pick it up they didn't give me the new mats. The service advisor then thought my current mats were the new AW mats (which they weren't because I bought them in 2005). I showed him the recall letter which shows that I receive new mats. Of course they don't have them in stock in the parts department either. FML.

I have the same problem. I wear a size 13 and my foot slips off the pedal. You would think my big foot would cover everything down there, but it's a problem for me. I hate the cut pedal and want to change both of them. I am also trying to see if the pedal can be pushed back some to give me an inch of leg room too. There should be a way to move the brake and gas pedal arm back some, giving more room. NOW, THAT WOULD BE THE BEST MOD EVER!

Suggestions on how to do this?

Best way might be to buy a Chevy truck. My friend's has a button that moves the pedals in and out quite a ways.

IMHO, for American made trucks I'd rather be cummin than strokin and duramax just sounds like something you need when u can't get it up.... the diesel boys will get it.. I got my 4th Gen and my 1st gen dodge cummins 2500 all I'll ever need

I got the 93 model last year of the 1st gen but came with the intercooler, banks power pack yo, she rolls coal!!
