You mention that the rear flare extension doesn't come painted. Do you know if it is black plastic like the forward extension or a different finish altogether? I would have guessed the former to match the rest of the rocker trim.

I'm still a little confused as to exactly what is needed. It was to my understanding, that a mud flap up front was needed to complete the install. However, in one picture, the '14 rocker is installed w/o a mud flap. I thought the front extension and mud flap were all one piece, but now I'm starting to think that they're 2 seperate pieces...
Yes, the front flare caps and the mud flaps are separate items. I did this conversion on my 11 SR5 also, but I didn't install the front mud flaps. After seeing them on Byrden's ride, I think I'm going to pick them up.
Also, instead of cutting the cap to fit the flare, I decided to cut about an 1/8" off the back of the flare where the cap mounts. It's not visible once the cap is on. This seemed to allow the cap to snap around the back of the flare and secure it a bit from that end since the pre-14 flares don't have the hole for the second clip. Either way you do it, it shouldn't come off.
I haven't quite decided if the rear flare sticking out now is going to bother me enough to actually buy and paint new rear door flares. Only time will tell.

According to the parts guy it's unfinished black plastic. As far as texture, I'd assume since the factory made it with the intent to paint it, it would have a smooth finish and should be ready for paint but I don't know for sure.

Love the pics. Has anyone tried replacing the 2010 thru 2013 rear bumper cover with a 2014? I got hit and need to replace and was liking the look of the 2014 bumpers, mud guards and rocker, but why trade up in years when I can put the money into this mod? Just worried about getting the bumper cover and finding out that there is something that won't fit without modification.

AZ4ME, is the bottom of the door flare open on the bottom, or is there an end cap to this part? I'm wondering if mud and dirt will fill the flare?

No it is not open. The flare itself is closed on the bottom.
I have since put the N-Fab side steps on so the rear flare sticking out a little bothers me less than it use to. I don't even notice it anymore.

Long story, but I told my wife I was done with wheeling when I bought my 2012 BP SR5 - well I got the bug again. Because I've started hating the low hanging bumpers and rockers, I've recently completed the rocker swap along with replacing and painting the rear door trim to match. Lift and tires after the conversion.
I will eventually replace the bumpers with steel ones, but for now I'm thinking of replacing the front bumper with the 2010 4cylinder bumper and the rear bumper with a 2014 SR5 bumper for better angles. That way I won't need to start over with TE trim and the bumpers and trim can be white. It looks like the bumpers should fit. I will need to paint the front bumper trim piece that appears to be the same part thats on the TE bumper. Will this trim piece match-up with the SR5 wheel well trim? I understand the TE trim is narrower and doesn't match at the back, but how about the front?

Do you have a pic of the rear door trim you painted and put on? Does it match up with the rocker molding? And what's the part number for the rear door trim?

They are 2014 SR5/TE trim and match perfectly. They came smooth and unfinished - part #s 75741-35901/75742-35901. I'll snap a photo later.

I got my rocker trim in the mail today. :banana: I am planning on switching it out tomorrow after work. Looking at the limited trim there are the bolts for the metal support and the screws on the end caps and by the door seal. What other fasteners need to be removed or clips need to be worried about to get the limited rocker off?
There are two screws (each side) that you will notice when the doors are open. You will need to remove those as well.
And just to be clear, you need to remove the bolts from the frame, so the whole trim with the metal brackets will come off all together.

Theyre getting scratched up anyways from my boots when I climb into my truck and my wife, and other family members who are short just "slide" down out of the truck instead of using the nfabs to "step" out...
