Ordered from the dealer. It's was around CAD700.
Bringing up a slightly dated thread, but just wanted to recap everything since my tax refund is coming in soon and looking to do this mod

Install:
Simple bolt on/bolt off of rocker panel and front trim covers. Rear door trim requires tearing off the existing one and just slapping the new ones on. No tape or anything else required other than the clips.
Is that correct?

I just did this on my 2013 SR5. No cutting required on the front end caps. Looks so much better than the low hanging chrome covered rocker panels.

Thanks to all who participated and provided info in this thread. I love my LE but after putting the Toytec lift and bigger tires/wheels on, it needs some side steps. I like the NFab option BUT after finding out that I can get rid of that extra panel below the doors (and get rid of some chrome too) and be able to run shrockworks etc, THIS is the route I'm taking.
Just to confirm: all the part #s here will fit a 2015 LE? I noticed someone posted pics of a 2016 that looked amazing with the TE panels, so double checking.
I hope with all these parts, it's not super complicated. I'm a hands-on gal with my car/ATV but have never customized a vehicle as much as my 4R.:fro:

Option B would be to trim your limited rockers. Super easy and it's free
You have a good point! I hate to cut into anything on mine since I've not yet had it a year. But after doing a simple lift, I'm ready for upgraded suspension..X-reas isn't anything special (to me anyway) before or after the lift.
I keep thinking I don't want to cut them, but chances are that i most likely won't ever put the LE rockers back on anyway...just trade in for a newer 4R, assuming Toyota doesn't go crossover on us. Also need to look into finding someone local to wrap the front chrome on my bumper. I LOVE the look of the non-LE and TRDs but for what I do, no use in going that far. But the side rocker panels is definitely something I'm going to do!

^ What I did & added the 4th gen sport tube steps & bolted right up. I like it & that's all that matters eh !!!

I did the TRD Pro Suspension but if I were to do it again I would consider the Bilsten's.
Just cut it and when you trade it in no one will ever notice. I should have continued the cut on my all the way to the front and it would have looked just fine.
You are spot on especially on a limited and someone actually trimmed the front cover on a limited back in the day and I just need to find the picture.
btw it looked really good.

I have to mention that I did ZERO cutting just removed & mighta busted some of the clips but all can be added back on if needed ! :humble:
Nope. Most places priced around the same, and the most expensive part was the actual rocker panel. I tried looking at junk yards but it was a hit or miss. I may opt to cut them or just put some N-Fab nerf bars on for now.

I just joined the forums and have been scouring the threads. I'm purchasing a 2018 LE and will be putting on Shrockworks sliders. A buddy of mine did this mod on his 2014, but since the Trail Edition has now become the TRD Off-Road, does anyone have any information on how that effects this mod? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks to all who have already posted good info.

Why not just buy the Trail rocker trim kit from Shrockworks? It's only $200 if you order with sliders.

I looked into buying the SW rockers on mine. The only thing that maybe bothers me about that set is the rear fender part looks like it's not quite finished? Maybe the stock pic isn't great. I don't necessarily mind my LE rockers but as I looked at the LEs side on I realized that they come down farther than the front and rear bumper, even with the LE longer front end. Makes.me wonder why they added them to begin with.
Going to price all the parts and see what the cost is vs SW panels. I'd prefer the better looking and cleaner kit. I wish I had the cojones to cut my panels but I just can't... :fear:
I am in the same boat. Please let us know what you determine will be the cost differential, I estimate that the OEM Trail rockers will be about $200 to $250k more than the SWs.
Also are you thinking you are going to keep the LE rockers for later? If not, why not cut into them to try. Worst case you get the SW rockers or the Trail ones.

Everything on this is crystal clear to me...except the clips. I was curious about the quantity. Do they come in a pack, or are they individual? If they're individual, does anyone remember how many of each they needed? Thanks in advance.
