So 35's will fit? :noidea:
Your right, what you guys got going on here in the 5th gen forum is working so well. I will put a sock in it. I will wait to be high and might like you guys once I contribute. My apologize.
So 35's will fit? :noidea:
*you're
how about you don't b!tch on other people's threads.
That seems to be the norm lately. Let's just stop.
Thank you for the spelling correction. I can be pretty bad at it. I have been overly *****y and an a-hole myself. Just frustrated with the forum, which is a really stupid thing to get frustrated about in the first place. I will quit being so b!tchy and I am sorry to all the guys I referred to as a-holes. I don't know you well enough to make an accurate judgment.
Props to you. The rest of us get frustrated too, I apologize for calling you a chicken-f*cker or whatever I said.
Thanks for the props! No worries on the chicken thing. I prefer turkeys anyways. Now that I have restored any likeability I may have had you will have to excuse me. I need to start a new thread about 5th gen aftermarket bumpers.
I noticed it too ! I think it has to do with demographics, I bet if you did a pole in the 5th gen section you would get a lot of republicans , and I think you would get a lot of Democrats in the 3rd gen section . just my stupid observation which is probably totally wrong. So don't everybody lose their minds.
It's crazy how chill the 3rd gen section is compared to the 5th. I figured it would be the other way around. It is pretty amazing watching simple threads go to 5+ page long pissing matches in a matter of hours.
I'm thinking it's the other way around. Bunch of liberals here (only joking...maybe) A lot of you guys just have so much money that y'all can afford to pay other people to do stuff for you while the poor 3rd gen section isn't as well off and has to actually do all their own work. We figure out facts, y'all ask your mechanics for facts. :bolt:
I'd like to see where getting someone's hopes up that they MIGHT just be able to fit 35s on one of these things, or half ass it and cut up a perfectly good truck is a good idea. This isn't how do I put my KDSS back on after a lift thread, this is how to I make something fit that physically can't. It's not an easy task, easy on parts, or something you should do for looks; everything will suffer or have to be modified on the front end to get them to fit proper.
It's way easier to tell someone it can't be done and have them do their own research than to drum up every reason why they shouldn't and hope you convinced them.
35s are a terrible idea unless you are as dumb as me.
Now...Roseville is close to Loomis... I'd have thought you were more of a sheep guy. Oh well. Looking forward to the bumper thread!
How about just respond with info or not. If you are sick and tired if of people not searching before asking a question then just ignore the thread. let someone that feels like actually answering the question respond.
Instead people act smug and respond rudely. Just look at pretty much every 5th gen thread. They all go to hell in a hand basket within about four comments. I have seen very little help from others in these threads and I when I do I have to sift through pages of worthless comments to find it. Then someone always says near the end of the thread go back and read carefully and you will see that we answered your question.
This is how the forum works now: someone ask a question, the others all drop a deuce in front of him and say dig through that for your answer. Or we can use the search forum at dig through many piles of poo for little gems of info.
As for this thread there are two really useful comments that answer the question. One from Marshal in response to my comment and one I think on the third page that list a lot of things he would need to do and more. But there are pages of crap in between. So now if someone searches 35s you expect them to read through all the worthless responses to get to any real info on the topic and then you wonder why they resort to asking the question in a new topic.
You have even admitted in another thread that you are equally rude to everyone. Yet you are asking me how you could possibly make the experience better for a new guy. I guess if you have to ask, the answer is no. you wont figure it out.
After looking into some of the builds that everyone here has directed me to I now have a better idea of what I would face if I tackled this. With my 4Runner being so new I'm definitely not ready to cut it up in order to make a true 35 fit just yet.
I wasn't going to get into it, but yeah. The ratio of ninnies to gearheads gets proportionately higher the newer the truck gets. There's almost zero drama in the Classics section, a little bit in the 3rd gen section, a little more in the 4th gen section, and then there's the raging cesspit that is the 5th gen section.
And it has f*ckall to do with political affiliation, 05Rrunner. That's the kinda thing a guy who plays identify politics would say - I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess you're proud of being a Democrat, am I wrong?
So you're saying that if you searched in the first place you'd have had your answer sooner, and that Marshal was right and you're not up for it. Got it.
But hey, stick around. We sure do need more guys getting pissy when they get told to search, we don't have near enough of that around here.
This is real easy to fix. Guys who know the answer don't post. Guys who don't know the answer post away. Easy peasy.
