4th gen with 35s for sale

Alright guys i had somebody offer me 15... and the runners with 35s are rare so its very different..tons of people love it never had a negative comment about how it looks yes its 2wd and yes its a v6... but i does fine wherever and the v6 pulls them perfect. ive had no problems..i jut wanna trade for a 4th gen runner v8 4x4 it can be stock just wanna start over and put a 6in fj lift on a runner and some 38s....i know how to do all this i just need the car haha so i figured id just trade

Can you even fit 38s or 37s on the 4runner without going SAS ?
Seems a bit far fetched to me

That fj is ghey, its good for hard parking and mall crawling, but thats about It. To each is own though!

So can I.. <b>easily</b>... LOL, No doubt a runner can handle 38s its just whether or not they can be fitted without doing SAS... FJ is possible, the body style of the 4runner is what would make it interesting

Unless you plan on buying a transmission made out of Diamonds 38s might only get you out of the parking lot....
All kidding aside you might need to regear or beef up the Tranny Internals to run 38s, Or mabye do both. I dont know how strong the toyota trannies are, but 38 inch tires will be Heavy as sh!t. The previous owner of my Wrangler didn't regear when he installed 35s and it turned my tranny into Creamed Corn.

Just a heads up, as long as you have some aftermarket bumpers, skinny 37's (keep em under 12") will fit a 6 inch lift without too much rubbing/trimming. 38's will require some body lift and a bunch more trimming. With the V8 - regearing isn't as important as simply strengthening your gears.

The v8 and v6 have essentially the same transmission minus the tranny cooler from the factory though.
