5th gen contributors - thank you - time to rest the bank account

I just got my Firestone Destination A/T 275/70/17s put on this morning. So, my bank account is telling me that's it for mods this year.

I'd like to thank all of the contributors in the 5th gen forum for helping me make up my mind regarding my suspension and tire upgrades. With special thanks to [MENTION=97804]Snowdogyyz[/MENTION], [MENTION=96409]Canazes9[/MENTION], and [MENTION=56864]Mike G.[/MENTION]

Nope. Before I put the BMW to bed in November, I have to buy new tires for it, so the fun money has run out. Thanks again for all your posts!

Glad you found something useful, but don't forgot there are a lot of useful low cost mods you can do also - rear diff breather, plasti-dip stuff, heck [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] 's build thread is full of stuff like that...

No, was pretty easy actually. I referenced the Toyota parts from this Thread on Tacoma world:

Rear Diff Vent behind the tail light Mod - Tacoma World Forums

Walked into to my Toyota dealer parts dept, said I wanted those part #'s. They didn't have them in stock, had to order them - came in a few days later. I don't remember the exact price but they were cheap.

Initially, I was all excited thinking that was going to be the ideal spot (behind the tail light) for the 4Runner also. Eventually, with some input from folks that have "been there/done that" on this forum I realized behind the lights on the 4Runner is not going to be the best option for me and I'll probably put mine in the gas filler area as others have done.

Location is what has held me up, but I'll probably do it soon now. If you have an e-locker you will need to get a T and some additional tubing to tie in the e-locker solenoid breather. Should be able to buy a suitable T at any auto parts store.

I had those tires on my last 4Runner, they were awesome tires and lasted a long time! Congrats!
