How bright are those at night? I just want something similar in brightness to park lights.

I can't say right now. I just installed them this morning. I'll try to take some pics when it gets dark.

Install them and post pics. The mod is cheap and relatively easy to do. $13 for 10 eagle eyes and then a couple of bucks for splices and butt plug connectors.
The hardest part on mine was when I tapped the side markers. Should have pulled the head lights when I had the bumper off for the hidden light bar install.

I used the cheapo Amazon LEDs for mine.

"Tapping" into preexisting wires
Hiya guys. Thoroughbred electrical noob here. Read through the thread - it's been exceptionally helpful, so thank you all for the contributions!
Quick question about tapping into preexisting wires; I know that this is mostly preference-based, so I'll try to split it up. Generally speaking, of the different options of "tapping into preexisting wires," which have you found most rewarding?

For those who've connected the lights to DRLs - have you found that the bulbs burn out rather quickly? Have they been somewhat superfluous in the daytime? Or are they still noticeable? If you connect them to DRLs, wouldn't they be overridden (and thus turned off) when you properly turn on your lights (pardon the terminology ignorance!) - I know there have been daytime pictures in the thread; I'm more curious to know the long-term "feeling" of the lights' use when tapped into DRL.
For those who've connected the lights to an independent rocker - worth it? any regrets?
For those who've connected the lights to "parking lights" - what does that look like?
Has anyone tapped them into the blinkers?

1) wire splices
2) The grill markers will turn off with your driving lights and on with your high beams. High beams and DRLs are the same light, different voltage.

Have you guys seen this before?
I'm based in a suburb of Washington, DC - was getting my car serviced at Koons Toyota in Tysons. I was looking through their lot to kill some time and I saw a t4r trail that had lights in the grill (in the circled regions of the attached photo). My phone was dead so I couldn't snap a picture. Might be some of you have seen this mod / done it yourselves. Basically looked like the "Eagle Eye" style but for the lower "side" grilles.

Replaced my Amazon cheap lights for oznium 11mm 1 watt amber. Got the sizing from tacoma007.
The cheap lights were either burning out, moisture or just going dim over time. That's why they were less than a dollar.
Used two 3/8" spray painted black washers to hold the lights in place. Overall a lot cleaner and brighter look

I'll post this here before I make a new thread. I'm looking for the write up to do this mod and wire it to a switch in the dash. ...if you want to add a switch just put it in line with the input from the "on-key" wire to the relay. :thumb:
