5th Gen Marker Lights in Grill

I'm sitting in my garage enjoying one of the last warm evenings here before the weather cools down.
I may have mis spoke on the fit of these light mounts. I put my lights in the lower part of the grill because the Toyota emblem prevents me from using all three in the top section.
As I sit here I'm pretty sure the top and bottom grill sections have different size holes. It looks to me that they may have been made for the top. I had no idea they are different.
I'll switch them out in the morning when I go to work. If the fit is better I'll just use two for now.
My apologies if I am mistaken. The quality is very good. I'll report my findings.

Just do two in the upper grill. Please don't put running ights in the lower grill.....

Yeah, I was on the fence, but when I saw that these were 3D printed I decided to take a chance on them to get a more stealthy look and I think I will like them. Probably install Friday or Saturday, I will post pics

Let me know how they fit the grill. And yes pictures!!

They definitely have different size holes, these are designed for the upper holes

I don't think so, if you look at my pics above, they're comparable to the GG 6 LED's which are not overly bright. I only tested these with a jumper box, but unless you're staring straight into the LED's I don't see that they're really that bright, but bright enough to at least be noticed. I can try and post better pics from far away after I install these this weekend

Too bright? I don’t think so. They’re just the sealed round 3/4 led’s
Might have been the angle.

Removed my 6 LED Amber lenses and installed my Gunn's 3D printed smoked LED's in the grille.

Here's what I had and removed

Removed the zipties and the 6 LED amber lights that sat on the grille

New ones installed

Wired up

With the amber corners

And the finished product.

Definitely happy with these, they're 3 SMD LED's instead of the less bright 6 LED lenses. I didn't really want the round "Raptor" look lights, but I just love the stealthier smoked lense and 3D printed pieces to tuck them into the grille and not stand out as much. Overall I'm super happy with these and the change.

Took these last night for you, I was surprised just how bright these things were, they appear to have multiple SMD's inside where I thought it was just 1. These are a lot brighter than I expected and definitely made me want to install them more now. These are the smoked amber lights

The engine bay fuse box is water tight, it was easier for me to run it into the cabin and tap the fuse box in there

The engine bay fuse box is water tight, it was easier for me to run it into the cabin and tap the fuse box in there

Got it, thanks. Was only thinking that the one in the engine bay has more room and I could still have the cover on after tapping. The water issue makes sense.
