I have the same set-up. One notch from the top is dead level. (Mine is two notches down and has a decent amount of forward rake)
Any reviews of the new Bilstein 6112's?

Bilstein 6112 setting and feedback
A couple folks have asked for images and info.
'06 Sport, 4wd, 6 cyl., 98k miles, 265/70/17
Front suspension: Bilstein 6112's
These have four notches. Mine are set one notch up from zero.
Rear suspension: Icon 2.0 remote resi's with 2" Icon springs
Stock UCA's
The 6112's have great on-road manners— smooth but firm, absorbing everything you can throw at them. Went from functioning XREAS (swishy), to 5100's (too harsh), to 6112's. Originally open to Icon front C/O's, but 6112's proved to be excellent. Only off-roading has been fire roads and snowy trails.

You're right on it— I gained 1.5" in front.
good deal- im gonna be putting these on by springtime and looking for 1.5-2.5" in the front to go along with 1.5" rear lift w 5160's...so its gonna be either yoursetting or the next one up
are you gonna keep the 6112's where thry are at or are you considering going up one notch?? i think it looks good now but the rear is tall enough if you did want to go up..either way i bet it rides awesome

I know these come with #600 springs, just wondering if anyone has measured the free height of the coils?

Sorry guys first time poster here on this lively community of enthusiasts. I'm a Canadian living in Dubai (don't rush to judge please) and I have a 2015 TE.
I was encouraged by what I've read here about the Bilstein shocks/ lift and I wanted to give my rig a better stance, so I ordered the 6112's (DON'T ASK ABOUT THE SHIPPING COST) and 5160s.
Got the front really quick and I installed them right away and was very happy with the setup but waiting to lift the rear as well, as I wanted to lift the whole vehicle about 2".
The rears were, ordered from Total Automotive, arrived and they were in better packaging than the fronts which was a good sign, installed professionally here in Dubai with stock springs as I did not land on lift option yet. Sway away 1.5 was my choice but the shipping cost was double the price of the springs.
cut the story short, vehicle was level fronts set to 3rd notch, Mrs taking the kids to schools every day and .......5 or 6 days later the rears are busted as in no damping effect what so ever and the rear end was allover the road with my wife and kids in it
I noticed traces of oil on the garage floor and realized the rear suspension was covered with oil. The shocks lost the gas and most of the oil in those few days which was hard to believe given Bistein reliability and warranty. went today and took them off and put the stock shocks back in so we can use the truck. I noticed that most of the oil was coming out of the hose connection on the shock body and later realized that it was not tightened the guys who did the install never touched it and the installation instructions never mentioned anything about checking them or tightening them as part of the install procedure did anyone experience this (I very much doubt it) this is suppose to be torqued to spec in the factory to avoid damaging the seals unless it was produced early Monday or late Friday???
I sent an email to Total Automotive with a lot of pictures and waiting for their reply I hope they will come through with the replacement the only wrinkle is that I cannot ship the leaky shocks back to the vendor no courier service will accept them not when shipping internationally.
Guys check the shocks before you install them I don't this to happen to anyone, quite frustrating. I paid $150 to ship the rears alone and I'm not willing to ship them back for another $150

after 210k on my 2003 LTD 4x4 4runner, its time for a lift. i left my 4runner all stock just because i didnt want to do anything to it since it is my dd and family car. now that my wife is getting a sienna, i get to put a lil money into it. I'm hoping the 4R will get to 300K and then I will be getting a landcruiser (newer ones now will be affordable in a few years).
so ive been reading a ton on FJ/5100s and was gungho about it but now seeing the 6112s, I'm getting the 6112s for the front. However, would 5100s with new springs be sufficient or should i just go for the 5160s? Trying to save a little cash. I went from a $500 lift to now over $1K with the 6112s
btw, im running 265 70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on stock suspension. May bump it up a bit since i will be needing new tires soon too

Hi guys, just bought a 4Runner 06' 2WD sport. The shocks are fairly faded at 80k miles... I think I'm going to go ahead and do 6112f/5100r, what rear springs are best to pair it with?
I think the 6112's seem to soak up better bumps than the 5100 fronts from what I've read. Seems like a solid option. Anything else ones need to buy for the front?

honestly i have nothing to compare them to since this is the first new suspension from stock but i am happy with them. vast improvement from my saggy old XREAS with 210k miles on em.
i took my 4R out to my local desert and handled the roads with ease. My friend was so amazed at how smooth the ride was going 40+mph on the sandy roads. ruts, washboards, whoops were no problem. this was with new Cooper AT3s just installed that morning and not aired down at all. i dont even know what the tire guy set the PSI to... so I imagine 10lbs of air out of the tires would make the ride even nicer.
sorry if my info is not very technical but i am really happy with everything. price was right and install was a snap. i'm by no means a hardcore overlander, have too many other hobbies but i do want a capable vehicle to take the family outdoors and into the wilderness. a few more upgrades and i should be set
