bumper build, need input

The bolts are 18mm and the heads are 22mm, nuts are 24mm across the flats. The bolts I am using are from the lower links on an 80 series Land Cruiser. I can buy Toyota bolts cheaper than from a fastner supply. The purist in me makes me use as many Toyota parts as possible.

I can't 100% tell from your pictures but be sure to think about eliminating any path for a stout stick to get past your bumper into the radiator. That's one of the reasons that I went with a plate bumper vs tube since I wheel in Ohio.

Didn't think about a stick in the rad but I am going to build something to protect the plastic tank on the bottom though. I may incorparate some expanded metal for some added protection. As usual I don't have much of a plan so I just make it up as I go and thats one reason I like seeing other peoples ideas.

Would have a picture of yours from the side?

An early picture.

What do think of the turn signal gaurds? Should I stop with the 1" tubing where it is or would it look better if it ran all the way to the end of the 2" tubing? I still have to add the last piece of 2" tubing.

Well here is the finished product for now. Going to pull it back off and do some touch up and weigh it.
