Ran the AFE CAI on my 05 with the TRD Cat Exhaust. Whistled slightly around 2000RPM and was a beast snarling at WOT. Generally, fuel mileage averaged at around 20MPG if I kept it at 70MPH or lower. (Nephew has this one now with approx. 150K on it and still running great
Current ride is 14 TE. I went to the Borla Cat back, installed Eco-Block and TRD Air Filter. Ran fine, but pedal response always sluggish unless hard into it or at 2300+RPM on interstate. For the record, 2500 RPM is clipping along at over 80MPH. Runs great, but thirsty.
Been sitting on a TRD CAI since getting the 14 T4R. Decided to install today. Disconnected battery to reset system and after 5 hours installed the CAI. Install was easy - took about two hours. Hooked battery up, and took it for a 30 mile run mostly on interstate. I can tell you that I did notice throttle response much improved at lower RPM's. One push at WOT and it screams. Normal driving and very quiet. All promising and will report back on MPG results.
