. You need to physically calculate it. Top it up. Reset the odometer. Drive it till you want to fill up. Fill it up. Write down the number of miles driven over the gallons added to top it up. Divide it and you get mpg. I bet you don't get over 14 or 15. That's reality. Now reset the odometer and do it again. Do this over a couple months to get an average.Yeah, but I wasn't driving it.
Your 5th generations need to work harder to carry around the weight, and thus use more gas. You'll see.
