Got my TRD Supercharged logos ready. They'll go on when the S/C goes in. They're a carbon fiber black finish.
Still looking for a TRD Boost Gauge before I resort to a name brand gauge.
Gonna either pick up this generic Auto Meter brand pod:

Or a Lotek one. It's got two pods, so I'd have to get another gauge.
Also, you lose your OH SH!T handle. I'd rather just paint match the other one. A.Wilson has one, looks good with his AEM gauge set up.
Other things like a panhard drop and fixing the driver's seat mount are coming soon, too.

I think they'll go well with the Black Pearl emblems. I am not sure where they put the S/C logos from the dealer... I have seen them on the sides (don't like).
I was thinking the lower left corner of the hatch.
Here's a photoshopped mock up... what do you think? Where would you put it?

so cool! if you only have 2 emblems id put the squrare one in the back next to the "4RUNNER" badge and then the other one somehwere on your front grill?

To be honest, I think that looks kinda goofy.
When I bought mine it had the "Supercharged" under the word "Toyota" and it lined up pretty nicely.
Then on the front sides it had the "TRD" with "Supercharged" under it on both sides. I have gotten many many many compliments on them.
After I removed all of my hatch emblems I replaced the sides one with the carbon fiber like you have, and added the sames setup (trd with sc under it) where the "Toyota" emblem was. It looks super clean, I think.
Here you can sort of see the "Supercharged" under the Toyota emblem... I do not have any current pictures of the rear apparently.

Heh yeah. I saw michael's photoshop and I am not sure it would look great on the grille. I want an OEM lookin spot to put it, you know?
Since I have only enough for one location, I will go with the back. I really don't want to get rid of any of the black pearls, so I figure somewhere near the badges for a factory look is really best for me. I figured that bottom left corner would do... did the do the sides factory? I might order another set and do the sides if that's the case.

I think my opinion on the bottom left is biased because mine is on the bottom right...
However, the factory kit only comes with one emblem... So who knows?

The supercharged logo under the Toyota is pretty cool. I think it would be cool to have them on the dash too, kind of like where you'd fine embroidered signatures and whatnot.
Oh well, I should probably install the sucker before I put the badge on lol

After going through so many conversion threads and stuff, I've realized that buying each part, piece by piece, would not only be a fortune, but practically impossible.
Between control modules, vacuum crap, and harnesses/stuff I just don't have, I am looking for a complete donor vehicle. It has to be a 1999 or 2000 2.7 4wd wreck. I can just do direct, bolt on swaps from there on, since I'll have everything at my disposal. I won't have to worry about figuring out what's missing or how to mount whatever since I'll have template of a truck.
I've searched listings across the entire country and I can't find a single one. Copart has plenty of V6 4x4's but no 2.7's. Keeping the 2.7 in my truck will make the process a million times easier than swapping the motor to a V6.
Then my gearing would be off, my new supercharger would be useless... the thought of it makes me cringe. A 4x4 2.7 it is.
But hey, if you come across a 4x4 2.7 that is cheap, I want one. I am likely going to crank out the whole swap within one week if all goes to plan. Maybe a 4x4 swap party?

You would be golden if you find one with manual hubs. then you wont have any electrical work to do. You wouldnt have a 4wd light, but thats minor. I think a 2.7 taco should work as well. there are more 2.7 taco 4wds out there with manual hubs than 4runners
