Just went through the build. Love it man! Sorry if you mentioned it before and I missed it, but what do you use for all your degreasing and cleaning? I need to clean up my front end like yours.

Thank you! I use a local company's stuff. It's called Hot Wax Pink Lemonade Degreaser.

Installed the cat from my 3rd gen and drove to the smog station. Passed! Have to wait until January 18th to get it registered as operational though. If I pay registration now, it will only be good for two months, and then another payment is required. Lame.

They'll be making an appearance soon, although not on this truck.

They're going on Matt's old 99. The Pep Boys tires on it now (Definity Dakota A/T) will move to the Turbo truck. I was going to sell them until I found out they're made by Cooper, I would have guessed they were some Chinese brand.

The truck is looking really good. Glad to see you finally have that sunroof you always wanted!

BTW have you ever tried Meguires Ultimate Compound Polish?

I used it for the first time last week on my truck and the results were amazing. I think it would really bring out the red in your 2nd gen.

Goes on like this ... Clay Bar (optional), Ultimate Polish, Ultimate Wax

I didn't use a polisher, just hand wax-on, then wax-off. It was a lot of work but the results blew me away. Definitely more than just wax coat, its like a SUPER wax coat. :wow2:
