Just stumbled upon this. What a dream project. Rock on man.
Wow, great recovery.
Just sold the little brother of your 94, my 94T. Bone-stocker w/75k miles.
If your iPhone 6 Plus is producing blurry photos and falls into the eligible serial number range, Apple will replace your device's iSight camera, free of charge.
Using a lift is cheating, I thought this was going down in your garage again haha
Good work so far as always!
:bravo:
2 colors is also better than broken in the drive way waiting for revival lol. Thanks dude. It being two different colors sure beats being neglected.
The lack of updates could just be me not doing anything to it! lol. Hard to drive a car that has such low miles, every mile counts. Plenty of cars to distribute miles between.
That's beautiful. You need a some supra pics to your sig.

As far as mileage is concerned I saw an interesting quote a few weeks ago that I 150% agree with. "Not driving a car to keep the mileage low is like not sleeping with your girl to keep her tight for the next guy" (sorry if that's not family friendly enough for this forum. Can't remember how strict T4R is for that. Will take down if needed) I do agree its nice to see a cool car with low miles, but at the same time I think its a waste to have a car and not enjoy it. The whole reason these things exist is to be driven! Personally, I feel like its also more of an achievement to have a car running smoothly with hundreds of thousands of miles on it than it is to have one with low mileage. Anyone can buy a car and stick it in a garage, not many can keep a car running that long. Pretty sure you could though lol
She's looking really good now! Super jealous!
Because Toyota is awesomeThe engine bay finally looks decentThanks!
Yeah I haven't changed those pics in years, I'll probably do that if we get some downtime at work today.
I agree that its more impressive having hundreds of thousands of miles on a beautifully functional car. Most car forums take pride in low miles, while most Toyota owners do the opposite.
I'm not planning to sell this one anymore. It's my first time having a somewhat low mileage car, seeing the low miles on the ODO gives me a smileWith the cams and boost turned up, it gets a workout each time I take it out, but I'm in no hurry to catch up. With 3 other cars that need driving, I try to switch cars as often as possible.
87 4Runner has 9k on the rebuilt motor, 279k on chassis.
89 Supra has 700mi on the rebuilt motor, 130,700 on chassis.
94 Supra has 64600 on entire car
99 4Runner has 236k on motor/chassis, 40k since the 4wd/5speed swap.
Because Toyota is awesome
And damn lots of mileage in there. You're catching up to me with that 3rd gen! :O Gotta get rolling again so that doesn't happen :ballchain:
Oh and diiiiiick. Don't hide the banana from your girl
I love your GenIV Supra!! The time and attention to detail is really awesome! I wish I had the time and patience (and Money!) to do what you've done! You also seem to snag the gems! The only Gen IV's I see up here in BC, Canada are from Japan! And yes, there are very few of them. I suppose Toyota didn't import them to Canada, possibly. Anyways, I love your 99' 4R, however, I was blown away by the Classic 4R, the whole story about saving it from the junk yard etc... wow!!! I was truly enraptured! Now the Supra! Please keep us up to date! Thanks!
This is my contribution to the Toyota Love fest!
I also spent last Sunday installing new (to it, rebuilt from the pick and pull!) complete front suspension in my (soon to be son's) 97' Corolla.... yes, another Toyota!
It's coming along great! Thank you for rescuing this Supra. <3
Its now 2017 and I'm curious what you're up to. Have you found a new project? Done more to the Supra? You're going to need more room soon! Love what you've done, truly inspiring!
Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing what you're up to this year!
