Got permission and subsequently order my Gobi stealth rack, fingers crossed that it is delivered in time for this trip. Need to secure my new ARB somehow if it doesn't arrive.

That said that's fine since mike and I are bringing a total of 5 guests.
Anyone know anything about what fish are in the camp area? Want to bring the right tackle.
BTW if you're looking for a good read check out the tripadvisor reviews. TLDR; all women who say it's beautiful but full of drunkards who are loose cannons. Sounds like I'll be right at home.

Light tackle- All I caught was a small (understatement) Bass and a couple Bluegills, but I didn't really try too hard because there is too much other stuff to do.
There are big bass in there and Walleyes, Yellowperch, etc.

We were TOLD there were big fish but haven't seen any yet. that pond is also supposedly 100ft deep at the deepest point but its stepped down in some fashion and you have to find the level at which the fish are currently chiiling at. Not so easy apparently. crazy and didn't quite make sense to me. I gave up after trying a few of the ponds.

Yeah- BUT I have Down/Side Imaging on my "real" boat. If I were to bring that we would be eating some Walleyes.
Guaranteed.

So at least this year I'll be on the same coast. I'll be in training in Moyock, NC but if I'm off and allowed to leave that weekend I'll probably rent a car and pop in for an overnight. The 4R will still be in WA.

i wish i could come, i've recently moved to NCif you ever plan on going to Uwharrie or Windrock Park i'm an hour from Uwharrie and about 3.5 hrs from Windrock which is a HUUGE park!
I will be in Uwharrie this weekend. Going to do some camping, and hit some of the trails. Make sure the 3rd Gen is working the way I want it to before this camping trip.

The Cove is about an hour an 15 minutes from me, I will check the dates with the boss and see if we can make it. I am thinking we might have something going on that weekend for Columbus Day, I will let you know.....thanks.

This sounds like a blast! Sure wish I could come. My wife will be out of town during this time and I have daddy duty with a 1 year old for the month. I'll be there next year!
