They're on whenever your headlights are off. They're off whenever your headlights are on.

I've had that damn part for it must be a year now and still haven't done it. I think it is because I didn't have a visual......and now I do thanks to your picture. So, it is about damn time that I get in there and set this up. I would have perferred to wire it to a switch, but I don't think I have the skills to tackle that. According to the shop manul there is also a light sensor mounted at the top of the dash ($105.55 at partznet also used for the auto on/off head lamps). It's unclear if a non DRL equipped system has the programming in the ECU to support DRL and/or if the harness connector for the sensor is in the dash.
